Whisky .com tastes the Tauern Rogg
For this Austria rye single malt whisky the distillery uses the old type of grain called “Tauernroggen” which is grown to over 1.000 m above sea level.
The nose:
Fruitiness, spicy rye, caramel, oakiness
The taste:
Rye, oakiness, fruitiness, earthiness, plums, dried apricot, spicy
The finish:
Medium
