  • As always HH will give a short intro to Buddhism before the start of any of his teachings. This intro was given to students during the teaching of 'Heart Sutra & 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva', September 2010.
This part 2, HH talks on the more advance buddhist topics such as Law of Causality & Dependent Origination & the Madhyamika school of Emptiness which may be suitable for more advance practitioners.

thank u v much for uploading this video. It is soooo wonderful to hear HH Dalai Lama explains in his concise english of the intro and emptiness dependent arising. I really wish to hear more of those teachings when he delivers in his own spoken english, preferably not through a translator, if possible. his teaching in his own english is really really good. tks v much. warmest regards.

paticca refers means happening one after another and samupada means at the same time. this means something happening together at the same time. here the Buddha is referring to the process of mind, he is saying all 12 conditions happening together at the same time. cause and effect is something happening after another, but a fire happens when oxygen wood, leaves come together at the same time. in the same way the self comes bout when perception, sensation etc.. r construct together in mind. we can do an experiment to see this ourselves. when we become emotional, did we become emotional after thinking or did we become emotional while thinking about a self in the world?

A few months ago I had a realization that if i let go of e everything I'm not, what was left was happiness, and I underwent extreme happiness.
    Is this enlightenment?

It depends. It maybe just placebo effect. Better understand Buddha's teachings to achieve it.

    hello,
This all monks buddhas and they followers, they teachings and so on are most corrupt beings bringing only calamities downfols for all by being terrible impostors faking most virtues ones in this world. Please abandon your wrong path and go towards virtue instead and repair all damage and destruction that you caused. I am ashamed of myself for being part of it and I want to repair all harm that was done by this.

Sunyata (emptyness) is the self-simulated cosmic consciousness from which comes self-error correcting quantum computing function, creating human life, which is also a QC function. Man and god are entangled.
