Thank you for a better understanding of the ratios. I've been using OA for a couple runs now but their feeding chart is misleading. After watching this video and doing further research I turned my veg. around in 1 week.
kyle kushman taught me about veganics back in 2010 in oaksterdam...dialing in the recipe for my personal preference has been one of the most educating experiences of my life...veganics is the best and i have stuck to this recipe ever since because if a corner is cut or a factor is changed the results in the end product suffer...thank you mr kushman for your education and dedication to the medical cannabis community
I always use spent coffee grounds for Nitrogen and Peeled Cucumber Skins in water for Potassium and Phosphorus, all natural I grow the coffee and the cucumbers! 😁
If your talking leaf stems... Epsome salt foliar as long as your not in flower, otherwise water it in. If it's the actual branches...I would say phosphorous deficiency. It's all about balance.@@Pointofnoreturn-du5oe
I use Alaska fish fertilizer for veg, it's 5-1-1. When in flowering I use 1tsp. of Alaska FF with 1 TBS. of a liquid Bloom fertilizer, it's 0-5-4. to a gallon of water. Been working well for me for years. I also use every 2 weeks some molasses for the microbes. I first started growing in 1976 in the foyer in my small Cambridge, MA apartment. My seeds were bag seed from that spectacular Colombian gold and red . The taste and high from that was perfect.

I do synganics with ventana plang science and gaia green/craft blend. Mostly organic but if the plants looked like they had any deficiency or needed a boost they got hit with the ventana plant science. Amazing results everytime.
Always organic. Coffee grounds a must when I recycle my soil. And egg shells. Epson salts also. Alfalfa meal and insect fly flass. Good stuff. Worms are important also. Micro organisms. Happy growing.
I make my own soil with all the nutrients in GG but i buy them individually from down to earth with compost & perlite coco an promix all mixed together seems to be working out just fine so far.
And FYI I have probably the nicest "Garden of Eden" permaculture in the entire country I am NOT against microbiology either I invent microbiological products I am just saying because it is 1 pseudo intellectual and reductionist of others who employ other methods and 2 completely inaccurate as one of the best biocultivators in the world for a long time there is no 1 way to cultivate anything that is "best" everything is based on a pile of factors. I was wondering what the best way is to get as close to Kyle's Strawberry Cough. Dutch Passio an RQS carry seeds, but do we know from where they are from. Did Kyle produce some seeds additional to the Sendling. Which one are more legit?

Raw NPK was first to sale this type of line of nutes. Where you can spoon feed so do speak. A plant. With b12 etc humid acid all in one. Not to mention amino acids. NPK RAw water soluble immediately available to plants way better !!!!
Grow both ways organic soil and synthetics in soil I always add microbes all of them funghi and bacteria advance nutrients and bio bizz organic both yield awesome results super healthy super clean nice smoke at the end synthetics always pushing higher cannabiniod content in my opinion soil less ah ye it’s not for me prefer the flavour and the quietness when grown in soil organic or synthetic can’t stand the buzzing water and air pumps I binned my first dwc run. Just after starting planted the plants In soil and was so much happier sleeping peacefully with no noise !!! 👍👍👍
After buying “organic” fertilizer which is about feeding the soil, they move on to NKP which is inorganic growing by proving what the plant needs directly and never mentioning feeding the soil again.
Most plants, and cannabis is no exception, need an NPK of 3-1-2 Anything more can still work, but chances are you'll be wasting nutes and money at best, or burning your plants at worst. Your media also plays a key role in nutrient retention (CEC). Several growing medias will only retain cations, hence the need of continuously applying more N and P which are in anionic form and would otherwise be leached away with watering, ==> waste There's obviously a whole lot more involved than simple arithmetics.

I came to drop a pro salt based nutes comment nicely and respectfully. TH-cam the app has a way of really only sending out content to people who have interacted specific ways with that type of content previously as well as targets your core audience a ton better than apps where you follow somebody and they follow you back. On avg the amount if accounts most peoples youtubes and instagrams have are very different size numbers and one type of social media has following and being followed back as a cultural development baked in youtube not so much its more like TV for kost of us just dial up for content. This was decent to listen to but you guys are definitely biased in your ways and techs
I use (21-0-0) & (0-52-34). It's about the ratio of N to P&K at the right time in its life. In Veg I ratio the N to be 50% to P&K. Then it lowers over time by 5 or 10% in Flowering then eventually as you said before drop the N by 70 to 80% & give it plain pH water for the fade of the fan leaves. It's never a pH problem because people are checking their pH everyday by overwatering. And yea I guess bump up K at the end if you can for the last feed or even a little before.
Back in the day I've gotten some of the best bud from.mircale grow that's all there was... The key was to cut out the miracle grow 2 months before harvest and let the plant eat the rest of the organic amendments that were in there. Horse poo, bat guano, earthworm castings etc. You could smell the flower from a football field away as soon as you entered the woods

more nitrogen causes Powdery mildew especially silica and calcium deficient which is basically ALL OF YOU regular or beginner growers and a LOT of "experts" too including the host he gets powdery mildew he doesnt even remotely know what he is doing back in the day he was advanced there was no internet 25 years ago when I was reading his high times columns it was groundbreaking then it turns out he is a beginner grower with a lot of experience who still gets powdery mildew,.....when NASA Hemp gave the solution YEARS ago...
Hes talking rubbish about the npk ratio if you double dose to liter off water you will get double the ppm of nutrition to the plant 10_2_4 npk becomes 20_4_8 npk

What do you use if you get purple stems but the plant is still happy and growing fine?
