I was in my 40s when I started to have my back waxed - I decided to get it done so you could see if I was walking away or toward people - it was very hairy. You should try laser hair removal if you want to maintain a hairless look. It's painful at times too (though nothing compared to waxing) but it's permanent (unlike waxing). Takes multiple sessions but you have the ideal skin/hair color for it.

Please do not go to this lady again! Roll on wax is a huge no no now. Not that sanitary. She's also waxing over places already waxed which is okay for hard wax but NOT okay with the wax she is using. She's not pulling the skin taught really which is why some of the pulls hurt more than others (not the only reason, but a big reason). Agreed, they should have used hard wax if he has such a sensitive skin. I've been getting waxed since I was 13 and have never seen a professional place use a roller wax. That is more of a home waxer thing because it's easier to do at home without the mess. And not once does she pull the skin taught while pulling. and keeps going over the same area...it annoys me so much.

No sweating, no hot showers (tepid is best), nothing with fragrances (Axe body wash, scented lotions, perfumes) no scrubbing with a loofa or any exfoliant, no sun exposure (as well as tanning beds) for at least 48 hours. with your sensitivity and how much she kept rewaxing over areas- 72 hours! I really hate that she did that to you idgaf if she's been waxing for 20 years she is no good. And lavender??? Lavender is an irritant to the skin. Smh I just can't. Idk why your video popped up on my feed, but it did. And I as a licensed esthetician just have to inform you to please never go there again.

Over reacting is the problem, if you relax put some Vaseline and smile like nothing happened , you will wake up the next day with a very nicely none irritated skin. Anyone who has sensitive skin or low tolerance to pain need to learn how to relax more, because when you react badly to anything your body register it as something exciting to your nervous system, thus you will be in a sympathetic excited nervous system state that day, instead of you just learn to progressively relax into harsh things your body will literally evolve your skin for next usage to better adapt. just like growing muscles. there's no such thing as a fixed sensitive skin or low tolerance to pain, its dynamic depending on how evolved you are mentally physically and spiritually.

I’m an esthetician. That brand of honey wax is the worst, but it’s really cheap. Smaller sections also help with pain and does not take much more time. I use numbing spray with Lidocaine first. Powder to creat a barrier between skin and wax, better technique and higher quality wax would make this experience waaaaayyyy better. In my opinion the sides of your back and chest are more painful than the bikini area. Bikini areas are harder to do and usually not done properly, hence causing more pain. And those wax rollers are nasty dirty and pull hair as you apply it to the skin. I used to work at a place that had that wax and now I’m having ptsd watching this. It was horrible to watch this unnecessary pain.
Hold the skin tight before you rip lady. The oil she’s rubbing on without the gloves after her hands have been sweating in gloves will probably make you break out. Those are really outdated techniques.
