@@doctorwhonews3047 I failed English and Geography :( Gonna redo English then go back for my A-Levels. A small setback but hey, it is what it is 🤷

@Madina 786 honestly it’s not that bad. i have really bad social anxiety so it’s been hard(ish) in that way. i skipped the first two hours of college last week because i didn’t have a timetable and was too scared to ask where i was meant to be. other than that and the fact that my whole entire class came from the same secondary so i literally have no friends.. it’s fine. im doing games design so there’s not a lot of writing. i’d say it’s better than secondary school all together.
@Madina 786 nah everyone is from a different secondary. i’m one of the only ones from a different one. finding my way around here is still difficult. i think that’s just because the timetables and lecturers/tutors are all messed up for the first couple of weeks of new students. the timetable says we’re supposed to be in certain places but then we’re in a completely different building. it’s rather stressful tbh but i’ve just resorted to following anyone i recognise

I was supposed to start college September 2021 but my mental health was so bad that I couldn't so I'm starting this year and I'm doing child care

@Madina 786 I didn't like it at all, it made me anxious and I just didn't fit in well. But I'm hoping that I can make friends and it'll slowly get better. (I've been for a week or so already)
@Madina 786 well, I was stuck in reception for an hour bc I had no clue where to go, and then I was brought to my class. No one spoke to me, I felt anxious. I was allowed to sit anywhere so I chose the quickest option and sat at the front where no one could see me or look at me, nobody spoke a word to me apart from the tutor. I came home after college, and just cried. It was awful
@Madina 786 but ideally, everyone's time is different. I had skipped a year, so like all my friends from the year before had already been for a year. So, I was sort of alone. I didn't know anyone y'know? If you go with friends or people you know, the experiences are so much different

I’m going back to college in September doing Social science (Law/criminology/sociology&philosophy) which is way different to my last course I did last year and I’m so scared 😥 I literally won’t know anyone there as all my friends are not going back to college next year and some of them are going uni 🥹 I try telling myself it’s my anxiety but it’s not helping 🤦♀️😂

just do whatever you enjoy ! it doesn't matter if it relates to what you want to do when you leave :) especially if you don't know what you want to do
