I want to add a button on my website that when people click on it, they will see the company's inventory. So good! I really like your new style of tutorial - especially for the Google form header: you show the finished header, the template form with the color, then the page with the grid and gradient. Kind of like cooking when you mise en place and have the ingredients ready to go - the steps were still clear, but putting the parts together was streamlined. I also appreciate seeing the search terms for the stickers, since finding elements can be a bit of a challenge. The use case is really helpful to get us going in the right direction for doing these kinds of websites. Building out these landing pages will be such a big help in my business for sure. It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background.
This video is helpful for sure. But you could have made it a 5 minute video. There's 20 minutes of content that doesn't need to be there - it's a super simple fix and you can get right to the point.
I understand my style of presenting is not for everyone. I have asked our audience countless times if they would rather have me talk less and make shorter videos, the answers were always no. It seems the number of people who enjoy our content in that longer form is greater than the ones who wish it were shorter 😊✨

Hi Gary, You are probably right about these platforms being able to create clearer landing pages and, on top of that, have more features built-in like forms. My opinion is that I’d love to have it all in Canva, meaning my designs, videos and marketing tools. I think this is where we are heading, but we are not quite there yet. The platforms you mentioned are several years old, Canva websites launched in 2022. I’m curious to see what we’ll be able to do with them in a couple of years 🧐

Roni, I want to make a link to a PDF on my website. I have made a PDF, a print out I want to share with my website traffic, but how do I link it on my website, is that possible? When getting a shared link from the PDF file, it is more like a picture or video, not something people can print easily.
Good tutorial, however when you use the Google Form, this navigates away from the website. How do we prevent that and just have the google form to open as an additional window. Also, how can we open a video link after collecting the email and name?

Hi there, thanks for your kind words 🥰 There's no native feature on Canva to do that, but you could achieve a similar result by hosting your giveaway on a cloud storage platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and link that file to the confirmation email that goes with your Google Form.
Hey Mark, Canva websites are still not great tools for ecommerce nor selling digital products. You can have a look at this other tutorial where Diana pushes the limits of what you can do to "Sell" with a Canva website: th-cam.com/video/zhwgjN-_49I/w-d-xo.html
For now Canva websites are single page scroll down websites. You could link several websites together with buttons, but that would be a workaround, not the proper way to do it. I believe Canva will continue to build the website features in the future, but they just launched a bunch of other products, so … patience!

1) yes 2) the items on the menu are the names of the pages. 3) you can use the link to page option when you use the “Link” button 4) yes, you can link anything as long as you have a URL 5) Websites have some basic analytics via the “Insights” button. Hi there 👋 Thanks for the sub! Welcome to our channel. You could probably design the pop-up, but Canva doesn't offer any option to trigger items on click on their websites. At least not currently 🥺
Hi, great tutorial, thanks. I have one question having made a capture page and linked it via my Canva website. In some instances when you click on the link to go to the form it asks the person they much log into Google Docs. Any ideas how to stop that happening?
Though it is technically possible, I wouldn’t do it this way. There are better solutions out there for selling courses like Teachable, Kajabi or even Udemy and Skillshare.
Have a look at Calendly which lets you create a calendar and allows people to book time slots with you. It also has some payment methods integrated. You would create a Calendly event and then link it to your Canva website via a button ☺️

Hi Rosemary, Unfortunately Canva doesn't offer this kind of feature at the moment. You could manage to make it work, by uploading your giveaway to a platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and add a link to download it in the confirmation message people would receive once they fill up the form via Google Form.

For the moment Canva Websites are mostly single page scroll down websites, not really suitable for blogging.

2) the items on the menu are the names of the pages.
3) you can use the link to page option when you use the “Link” button
4) yes, you can link anything as long as you have a URL
5) Websites have some basic analytics via the “Insights” button. Some might be for Pro users only.

You can either have that page on your Canva website or not, but for now, you cannot hide pages on a website.

Make sure you are using the public link of your Google form. Not just copying it from your URL bar.

Have a look at Calendly which lets you create a calendar and allows people to book time slots with you. It also has some payment methods integrated.
You would create a Calendly event and then link it to your Canva website via a button ☺️

Unfortunately Canva doesn't offer this kind of feature at the moment.
You could manage to make it work, by uploading your giveaway to a platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and add a link to download it in the confirmation message people would receive once they fill up the form via Google Form.
