When I was going through puberty (many moons ago), I had HORRENDOUS and painful acne. Around that time, we adopted a stray male cat. He would come sit on my chest and "bathe" my face for almost an hour. Crazily enough, my acne actually cleared up! I don't know if there's something in their saliva, or he just licked every pore off my skin, but I was surprised. Of course, when I was asked in school what I was using, I lied and said Clearasil.
I've had this type of massage therapy done to me, in extreme relaxation, after a night of drinking... I will have to say the beautiful hormones my body released that night, best massage I've ever exoerienced... I swear that these cats learn this technique at some sort of school.
