      But aside: Definitely was a bit strange. Voice from Dawson was also good, but is still missing a bit. Maybe because being used to Ecksteins voice, which fits a bit better, i think.
      But her movements, facial and body. They actually were really great, Dawson did a great job with them.
      I´d just wished for some Ecksteins-Voiceover and longer head tails. But i also understand if they are not very practical. But just would it make a bit more perfekt from a still very good translation.

Which is why no one can dispute why Ashoka never got involved in the rebellion. Because she was a spy going by Fulcrum whom only a few people really knew her identity. Personally, I like to think of Vader as the most powerful and nearly the most skilled, losing only to Palps due to being weak against lightning. Obi Wan shouldn't have beaten him. Ahsoka shouldn't either, although I think she's relatively close to his strength. Maybe she wins 3/10 or something. Obi Wan 1/10.
      I like the interpretation that she could have killed Vader, but I don't think that's about their abilities - Vader was focusing too much on the object Ezra was holding and was taken by surprise by Ahsoka. I do not think Vader held back against her, though. I think she's genuinely a tough match for Vader.

      In all seriousness this confirms my theory tho...Ashoka does have a strong moral code even tho she’s a grey Jedi...so why the hell did she start swinging without asking Mando who he even was...seemed more like she wanted to kill as if she was a a rabid dog. Idk maybe it was on purpose or bad writing but the Ashoka I know would’ve flex her power by asking who he was and effortlessly dodging any possible (and extremely unlikely) attack Mando would’ve thrown at her.

      @@TheSnakes294 Because the leader Ashoka wanted to question kept sending hired killers out of the compound to assassinate her. A bounty hunter who was obviously hunting for her wouldn't feel any different to her than the last five guys she killed. If anything, she would be more inclined to attack Mando on sight since she has to assume he is rather good at his job and because he is, obviously, a Mandalorian (who traditionally hate the Jedi).

    • @spiderboy43
      @spiderboy43 3 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      I say both. In terms of experience, Ahsoka does have both, but she was trained from a very young age as a Jedi in the old very flawed order. Luke didn't grow up in that order, and so his mindset was fresh when Obi-Won and Yoda trained him. Ahsoka could learn from Lukes new order, while also providing guidance to avoid the mistakes of the old.

    • @johnusas2870
      @johnusas2870 3 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Ahsoka by far. Luke did get some training from Obi Wan and Yoda but compared to Ahsoka it's night and day. Yes Ahsoka war trained in the flawed, strict Jedi order; but we also saw the flaws in the system. She still follows the core principles but not the strict dogma. If anything Luke has a lot to learn from Ahsoka, add on it'd be a neat scene to have Luke ask about his father before his fall. As well if my theory that the Feloni verse is diverging from the sequel trilogy, I'd be interesting to see if Ahsoka and Luke start the new Jedi order, Ahsoka bringing the core values of the Jedi while also teaching the failings of the old Jedi order and what went wrong. That and throw in Kal and we'd have a new exciting sequel era.

      @@johnusas2870 Exactly, she had not just the knowledge of the Jedi themselves, but the flaws in their teachings and system. Luke was probably more "powerful," than Ahsoka, but he clearly couldn't teach the next generation of Jedi, as we can see from those god awful sequel movies. Ahsoka was probably the better teacher of the two, especially due to that experience she had from wars and whole genocides.

    I am happy that Ahsoka Tano has made her Live Action debut, but i really wish that Ahsoka's White Face Markings and the Length and Color Pattern of her Lekku were more accurate to how we are more used to seeing Ahsoka Tano in either Star Wars: Clone Wars or how we she was last seen in Star Wars: Rebels! I have heard that the Length of her Lekku were shortened to make it easier for Stunt work in the The Mandalorian, but i cont see why they couldn't give Ahsoka the Longer Lekku's like we were expecting, as they had other female Jedi in the Clone Wars prequel Movie Trilogy, as Shaak Ti had the much longer Montrals/Lekku, to me it makes it look like Rosario Dawson's Live Action version of Ahsoka Tano is the Ahsoka from the End of the Clone Wars Animation Series, but she has the child like Lekku from the beginning of the Clone Wars Animation Series. If the Longer Lekku that Ahsoka Tano is supposed to have were such a hindrance to Rosario Dawson doing Stunt Work, which i am guessing a Stunt Person probably did the Stunt Work anyway, why not make them as long and screen Accurate as possible and just use Special Effects to make them the full proper length, and it's not just the Length that is a Issue it is that didn't even seem bother to match Ahsoka's Lekku Color Pattern from the Animated Series, others may be ok with it, but personally i find the Short Lekku and badly matched Color Pattern of her Lekku very distracting and take away from the Story being told and Rosario Dawson Live Action performance of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian!...

    Even if Ahsoka were not a great saber fighter. Even if she were not a powerful force user. Her compassion, her empathy, her fearlessness, and her loyalty to what she believes and those whom she loves place her among the best of Jedi as a spiritual journey. Isn't that what it is really supposed to be about anyway -not flashing sabers & force crushing? And yes, i used the L word and Jedi in the same sentence! No one could tell Ahsoka not to feel love. She loved her master. She loved her friends. She had attachments. And she drew much strength from them -regardless of Jedi dogma!

    I want to see Ahsoka or some lightsider use Electric Judgement (The lightside's emerald colored force lightning) on screen. We have never seen this ability used and I think it would be a cool one too see. Electric Judgement can be used without anger, unlike Force Lightning. Instead its fueled by a sense of justice and desire to protect, maybe the ability could make its debut as a last resort trying to protect Grogu or something. I don't think the television and movie media (at least that I've seen) really does a good job showcasing how powerful light side abilities are but they are nuts and some of them far outclass what the dark side has to offer. This would also further differentiate Ahsoka from the Jedi if she used it because it keeps her firmly grounded in the light, as the ability is exclusive to the light side of the force, but Electric Judgement was a banned technique by the Jedi Order (though Plo Kloon used it)

    • @thewarner2139

Is this foreshadowing a possible relationship? Like even at the end Ahsoka tells Din that Grogu thinks of him as a father.

    So I think a good idea for why Asoka is not in any of the new movies or the original trilogy is that she did not contact luke and Lea as much since she had a mission on her own. Force sensitive children could have been abducted by the galactic empire. If she was saving those children who parents are most likely dead and training them to create a new Jedi order in secret. Recovering knowledge and training the next generation. In order to protect them and after seeing why Kyro Ren did she decided not to tell anyone. Even the rebellion so the next generation of Jedi could be safe until ready.

    In the end the reactor was about to explode, killing both, was when Ahsoka decided to sacrifice herself to save Vader, and Vader struck her down at that moment

    It would have been awesome if she took Grogu the Child under her wing as her Padawan, but declined because Ahsoka felt he was hurt and lost since being taken from Jedi in Coruscant during Clone Wars. He trusted Din, his father figure. Grogu needs to trust another Jedi to show him the way. Too Bad that Yoda went into spiritual realm after living 900 years. I think if Din takes Grogu to that ancient ruins on Tython, Grogu will communicate with Yoda like Luke does with Obi Wan for time to time. Yoda would say to Grogu in his usual way to choose in the ways of the Jedi and alert another Jedi to continues training Grogu. But Dave and Jon have their storylines for Grogu.

    Another excellent video Alan.
    I have a topic regarding Ahsoka & her Duel blade wielding combat form that I would like to hear your point of view on which I will elaborate on momentarily. First a bit of background as to WHY this particular question I will be presenting...
    I am starting. My own Star Wars RPG campaign using to Wizards of the Coast 2002 D20 system.
    I'm attempting to augment the combat rules- particularly the melee/ light saber combat mechanic and make it more complex then your basic Dice Roll-add bonuses- resolve structure.
    I'm wanting to integrate hand to hand combat as well as the 7 forms of saber combat, thus giving players more options and give them a good "minds eye view" and make the combat more "visual".
    Now my question: how about a video explaining the flaws in each saber form and explain how using 2 blades or a duel bladed saber could be a weakness at times....
    Thanks for your consideration.
    I look forward to reading/watching your thoughts on this.
