Idk if you guys know this but the CW is working on a prequel that takes place 97 years before the 100 pilot and it will address how the apocalypse happened and the creation of the grounders and the 12 clans. I'm personally so excited and hope they do it right

Eligius III sent 5 mission teams to 5 planets, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon. Eligius I was an unmanned ship where they found hytholodium on an asteroid, Eligius II was a failed man ship cuz not enough labor so they resulted in prison labor (IV) Eligius IV is Diyoza and the prisoners were mining hytholodium.

I just realized that at several points in this show the 100 crew thought that they were the last humans in existence: In the Arc, they didn't think there was anyone on the ground, the first grounders show up. Then they assume they're all that's left with them then they meet the other grounder tribes and assume they are the only ones left then the world ends and the people in the bunker and the ones in the sky think they're the humans left then the convicts show up from space. Then the crew assumes they are among the last humans. Then the world ends again and they all assume everyone on the ship are the very last humans in the universe. Then they get to sanctum and find that whole society and assume they are it and then finally in this season we discover that there are even more humans on even more planets. I hope was cohesive enough to be understood. My point is the human race was never going to go extinct. There were humans scattered across the stars since the very beginning and everytime they assumed they were the last humans they were proven wrong. I just think that's fucking awesome.
This is one of the best epsiodes of the season. The plot this season is really good however it's not fair to have all of this in the final season where we are supposed to tie up things and say goodbye to the show and the OG cast. The focus has been on this new story than the OG characters because it all tie up with the prequel. I wish the show introduced all of this a couple of seasons before, and tied up everything this season. Not sure where you reached on patreon but I think only 4 epsiodes left of the season and soooooo much is still left and most of the fans have been pissed about certain stupid unconvincing storylines. I love the show, this scifi new plot but I am disappointed because the writers focused on it more than what the 100 is and its characters. It's the FINAL season and the show feels like some kind of a spin off of the OG show.

Quick reminder: 2 seasons ago these 2 ladies were willing to lead armies to the death over the last green piece of land on Earth that neither of them wanted to share due to their egos/pride, and yet they alone lived on this planet for a decade with Hope and achieved the peaceful life they claimed they wanted back in Season 5.

there were 4 eligiuses in season 5 it showed the Eligius 1 was an unmanned explorer Eligius 2 was a failed mission eligius 3 in season 5 monte cracked the code to send them there and eligius 4 was the ship diyoza and them came to Earth on you will be surprised when you find out how they got there lmao
Eligius 3 was the program to send ships to other habitable planets. There where multiple ships that each went to a different one, 4 in total if i remember correctly.

This I got off the Fandom page: So far, the ship went to five potentially habitable worlds; Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon, which were named after the letters of the Greek alphabet. Where the ship itself ended up and if it even reached all five worlds is currently unknown. If the ship ever radioed its status back to Earth, it was after the First Apocalypse and the message was thus never received.
so I was wrong about the ship being on Sanctum it dropped them off and continued onto the other planets as seen we know it reached Beta Gabriel knew the guy so he must've known he'd been on the Beta team.
