A difficult choice as salesman of both VW and Skoda demonize others cars (and service quality). Is Skoda Slavia rebadged as VW Virtus or VW Virtue rebadged as Skoda Slavia? Both DSG 1.5 and 250nM absolutely awesome, but the respective sales teams demonization of others put the doubt in mind if paying 22 lakh is going to be well spent on right brand: VW or Skoda. Constructive feedbacks welcome
I bought kushaq, promised that service centre will open in my area in few months, it’s been 1.5 years still no sign of service centre. There is only one proper fully capable service centre in Odisha in Cuttack. My car met with accident and i have to drive 400+ km to get the repair work done as other service station 150 km away didn’t have capability to repair. Sales agent falsely promise things while selling and customers have to suffer after buying. I have to drive 400+ km to get a skoda service while Toyota/hyundai/tata/mahindra/kia every company have presence in Rourkela. If skoda see a future in India they have to make their service station available at all sales points. Your showroom doesn’t even have their own service station person to install small accessory like window chrome beading. I have to fight with showroom and return accessory because after visiting multiple times to the showroom they were unable to arrange a person to install accessory. Skoda will be dead in next 5 years if this tactic of just selling cars and no service station continues.
My slavia has non uniform panel gaps..rear left window motor screams when operated both issues are from the day 1. What Quality Control Skoda has. The dashboard started squeaking within 1st year of ownership, pathetic AC makes rear passengers sweat when temperatures rise above 35. People bought Skoda for its quality. But skoda let people down with their recent launches. Diluting the fundamentals calls for early exit.

The cars may be great but the service from the dealers are terrible. In chennai city they have 2 dealers 😮. Gurudev motors is the oldest for them and they are the worst. Right from entry to exit is full of issues. They broke components in my skoda kodiak in the very first serivce and trying to blame me and charge me 44 K for a few broken AC adjusters. 😮😮
SK and Vw are notoriously known for breaking down especially Indian roads and weather conditions, making it passively less safer. Remember breaking down and being abandoned on lonely roads at odd times are much more dangerous than meeting with an accident in this country. And in a city of more than 10 million people having 3 service centres creates an anxiety of reliability
It's been 6 years to have skoda tested in monsoon winter and summer, I can only express one thing engine and steering never dissapoint you amazing machine

Kushaq squeaks like a duck in all 4 doors in just 2 months. What else I am going to face, only god knows. Bad choice for peaceful ownership.
