7empset is the most hardest song tool ever made ,danny killed it ,,,shit this man is legendery ,what the fuck is going on ,,,,danny is old man ,tall man ,and muscular this song ,the grudge ,is very hard song to play
I very much respect the band's wishes and really get the 'live the moment' ( I attended the Cologne concert where they didn't even allow to record the last song) but to be honest, my mind is not a computer drive so 10 years from now, when my memory is not able to recall every detail like it was yesterday, I would love to live again attending second row of my favorite band by looking at recordings, as long as they're done in the least distracting manner. As long as you kept it discrete why not record a little bit!
Lucky bro.. happy for you that you got to witness em up close and in ur face n ear holes.. I never get to see em. Covid ruined my chance last tour..the closest city they play to me is Denver which woulda been a 9hr drive but I'm so hopeful I get to next time before they stop
See tool play this on 3/11/20 in Portland at what ended up being the last show of the tour. Was super grateful to see them play it live. Thanks for posting this, helps me relive they incredible experience
guitar is used as percussion and drums used like guitars. switching back and. forth .. composition is an absolute masterpiece. maybe their finest composition . seems impossible. an incredible journey. a damn TRIO making that sound!!
This guitar is equal to David Gilmour Comfortably Numb best guitar solo announced.. and this song is much more complex.. if not even better solo.. totally correct Grammy Award win..
Yes, I agree with you. At 12:20, he lost his focus. I noticed it for the first time too, but you really need to have live performance experience as a drummer to understand how much pressure is on the drummer, especially with polyrhythms. He’s an phenomenal drummer.
I still can’t believe they can play this live. I heard the album and said no way. Adam Jones really came through
They've played it live seven times. I'm thinking we're never going to see it again
shame, it's one of their best jams
@@astrozombies3670 ....absolutely. I passed the last time around , after seeing a rather short setlist and this song not among it.
@@astrozombies3670 They've played it live the last 2 times I've seen them.
theyve played this song 7even times? wow
Seen them twice since it's release, and they didn't play it either time....🤬😡

Wonderful effort. Thanks for posting!
bloody luv this tune
what a joy!
We need the Danny cam for this song like we have for Pnuema
Came here to check if Danny messed up around 12:15 or if I just heard wrong, but no, he actually did :p
Human after all
High on that Dutch devils kale
the timing is really hard to get down for that part so i dont blame him. hes only human
I need it.
Siento que esta canción, tiene mucha inspiración en King Crimson con Discipline 🤟🏼, awuante Tool.
Yes!! Frame by Frame :)
Maynard show. Sounds pretty good.
That is up there with Floyd live in Pompeii.
I hope at least one the the security guys had never heard Tool before, and had their minds blown.
the intro to this leaves a lot room for error. both the drummer and the guitarist must've been nervous whether it would hold together or not.
Was that bong smoke blowing out of the vent? Wish I was there. All hail TOOL!!
no bong smoke but we can only wish 🤔😂😂🤘
lucky mooie
Not that I haven't heard 7empest before, but who's here coming from KC Frame by Frame?
Is it me or do you see ghost or ufo’s flying around when Adam is tearing it up?
For the first time I see Danny not very accurate

Damn, wish they would’ve played it in Cologne as well. 🥹
