I really don’t want Caitlin Clark to go into the WNBA, something happens where she’ll disappear into a black hole. And after that Swoope falsehood commentary about CC, she doesn’t need to be in all that drama. The WNBA might have just lost out on her coming to them now and if that happens they might tank even further. But it’s not on Clark to save them and don’t think it will help either way. One player out of an entire league can’t save a league…..
Yes she needs to go Indy but they need get that thug Wheeler out of there. This team has to be carefully built around CC. Cathy Englebert needs to correctly manage this Caitlyn situation so she can make the W more relevant.
She has to go to the WNBA. It would be a disaster if all next season we have to listen to people like Swoopes say how she can’t play in the WNBA and god forbid they win a national championship only when she’s in her 5th year. How’s that gonna go. She needs to go to the WNBA and show she not only belongs there, but that her game translates, which it will because her release is too quick and the people she now will be passing to can all finish.

I /hope/ she joins Aliyah Boston to make the Fever a PROBLEM. My son will be 2 this summer so hoping to get to some games with him and my wife, bonus if CC is there! That said, she’s not hurting for $$ in college with NIL. Does she want to stick numbers in college and one less year in the WNBA or get that year in the WNBA and stack numbers there? We’ll see. I know what I’m hoping for. 😂 -Alex
She needs to make as much money as she can without holding back her athletic career. The worst feeling for any athlete is always “what if?”
When you are an athlete you have a limited window to play at the highest level. Athletes need to make decisions as athletes regardless of whether you are being taken advantage of, which they are at all levels. Money doesn’t age, athletes do.
No she doesn't. Her career will be far better if she remains at Iowa and then becomes a coach. If she goes pro, she is beuried.
