The Zebras need to call the game fair. Gouging a player in the eye deliberately to effect their ability to play is a flagrant foul. My wife and I are like many new WNBA fans who came to watch CCs first professional year. I played basketball in college and was expecting the same professional level from referees as I had experienced. This is more like streetball or better yet, as someone pointed out, YMCA level (with apologies to the YMCA). It depresses me how poorly the WNBA is managed and what it has evolved to. We would hate to lose CC to some European league, but I feel that unless the WNBA is overhauled, it would be best for her.
