    My fiance bought this kit for me for Christmas...im not a drummer ...im a guitarist....l played for 2 hours had a blast....sounds like drums to me 👍

    I'm a 70+ year old "Kid" and I have this exact kit. I live in a small apartment and this kit is perfect! I dont get the "too small" bit as most practice pads are smaller! He's right about the throne and you'll need a rug.

      It is. I'm 37 and this kit is not only affordable, but quiet and saves you a lot of space. Wifey doesn't mind it at all, compared to my main set 😂.

      Im 41 and i just bought the ded-70 which is even smaller than this lol. Drums are drums if you just want to practice and play around

      Just ignore that opinion. You can get this and be fine. As long as you aren't super tall or hefty, it'll be fine.

    Absolute newbie here. When you say “too small”, do you mean that the rack makes the stuff be too close together? Would a custom made mounting system solve the “too small” problem? Or am I missing something all together?

      The pads are quite small. I bought it for my son and I tried it out. Easy to hit the sides of the pads.

    You said ded 70, the video says ded 80... I thought one of these is for small kids?
    I'm 6ft 2..im lookin for one for clone hero.. Which of these is good for that?

      The 70 is made for kids and 80 is adults

      I think what people do is use a real double kick pedal on an electronic drum but I’m not sure. Getting my kit in a couple days lol

      @@logos8626 The kit I have is the DED 90. It doesn't have an actual bass drum or tower, just the pedal itself lol. However, 66Samus tells me it could possibly be done by connecting a pc using the app? I've yet to try it and may just connect a tower and use a double pedal. The kit itself sounds decent and is perfect for practicing in my room...

      I'd say age doesn't matter too much. You can use this at any age

    Can the high hat pedal be changed for double bass? My 11 year old is going to want to start jamming Pantera riffs with me as soon as possible lol.

      It probably can but usually then you have to assign your ride as a hat hat or do without the hats. The pedal switch will also change the hi hat pad to a kick on a kit in this price range.

      This video was made quite a while ago, I can't recall if you can change the sounds on the preset kits with that drum module. From what I remember, it was pretty limited

    So the kicks have sound? You don't need to buy separate parts? Sorry I'm just trying to get into drumming. I'm good at digital drums, I'm trying to get an electric one because i live in an apartment and you guys know how that can be.

      The kicks have sound? Not entirely sure of the question. But the kick pedals connect to the module and allow you to play bass drum and hi-hat with your feet. You don't need to buy anything extra.

      If you have an amp for it, but if not you'll need headphones to hear it. Keyboard amps work great, bass amps too, guitar amps are terrible for e drums. If you are just jamming at home alone you can also use ordinary pc speakers but a small PA setup is ideal for If you ever want to jam with others.

      Yes, it has USB functionality, but you'll probably have to program the mappings yourself.

      I would say yes, as it gets your hands in a closer position to a real drum set. But it’s still very entry level and the sounds are pretty terrible

    I know absolutely nothing about proper drum sets; can you upload One-Shots or samples into each drum pad?

      I don't think you can upload custom samples or one-shots to each pad. The module is very limited. But you can connect it to a computer via USB and trigger sounds with Ableton Live or another DAW.

    I bought this e drum kit just for rock band 4, and i DO NOT recommend that kit because it is too small, and the snare keep pulling down even though i tight it with a screwdriver. i believe it’s a good kit for the price, but it’s HORRIBLE for RB4

      He was saying you cannot crash the ride symbol. If you watched the video, you can clearly see/ hear the crash symbol.
