The feeling of dread when the cutscene hits the "disable defence systems" moment was peak. They are cooking so hard that all master chefs are trash next to them. Can't wait for more lore in the future!
This event causes some real emotional trauma. It's masterfully done. Music, characters, lore bits. And a tragic loss of a really important character in the end. In some games or series nobody ever dies. But when the authors have guts to make a tragedy like that and kill a really good character - that makes it different and truly remarkable. This will be remembered for sure. I cried while reading the final parts and it still saddens me greatly when I see them again.
@@nguyenhuutrung3413 I think Kal'tsit died a little too after that incident. I like how complex was the spectrum of her emotions - first time she saw the Doctor after a very, very long separation; hope that Doctor would help them, change things that only he can change; concern because she wasn't 100% sure that everything would work well; admiration of her father basically. Her responsibility for Theresa, Babel, Rhodes Island and all the people around there. And things didn't work out the way she hoped for. Doctor was "restarted" but not Kal'tsit, she remembers and knows it all.
@@olodesu and fans really out here shipping these two and turning Kal'tsit into the "ex-wife". Not me though, from day one I've wanted Doctor and Kal to settle their differences through duking it out, one way or another. There's just too many problems between them for them not to...
youtube randomly recommended your streams to me (i think because i was watching so many Babel streams lol,,) and i'm glad it did! i greatly appreciate that you're clearly invested in the lore, makes it much more fun to watch. i'm going to immediately jump into binging your ch 14 ones and then hopefully i can join streams for the next event you read. also, i agree that that one cutscene BGM is really nice and i don't know why it's still not in any OSTs yet
