I had a holley sniper and a Pentronix distributor and had to use coil- input to trigger the fuel injection system. not sure how different those distiributors and efi systems are. does the efi input a square wave signal or just a pulse to trigger it.
When converting from Chrysler original ignition to their newer 1972 Chrysler Electronic Iginition and up; you have to replace single ballast resister to 1973 factory double ballast resister.... !! *1973 bought factory Chrysler Electronic Iginition conversion kit from Chrysler Direct Connection for my 1970 Plum Crazy Roadrunner 383... Was a great improvement in Preformance... °Double Ballast Resister included in the kit.... !!

I don’t know if it’s just me but every time you let off the key sounds like it tried to kick off
Is the wiring going inside the distributor good? I had that issue many years ago and chased my tail for a week, not fun with a broken wire.
That is such a nice car, I feel bad it is kicking you in the balls! I know you will figure it out!
Billy Bob said ,"it ain't got no gas in it,"
If anyone can figure it out you can.
The question is do you really trust the ace's system. If you're having problem now what kind of problems are you going to have in the future???
It dosent seem to me like thats a magnetic pickup. The magnetic pickup dosent require any 12 volt source it generates its own power
