I remember having that very talk with some people about two years ago, and telling them how the Holy Spirit wants them to know they don't need Mary or the saints to talk to Jesus for them when they've got Him!
The Holy Spirit was literally there, very happy. And within five minutes, one of them whose heart was open was baptized in the Holy Ghost and started praying with the prayer language.
I felt like I won the lottery that day. 😅

As a Catholic, I think what we think about saints is a bit misunderstood. Of course we know we can talk directly to God (even more if we believe He's in Eucharist). Saints are for us more like a model, and like older brothers that keep praying for the Church. When you're a little child, you can talk to you dad the same as uou older brother. Is not like we need them to get in touch with the father. Is just that they knew better how to accomplish things, and we can get a hand fron them. As for Mary, that's a different story. She's a Mother to us. We believe that Jesus left His own mother to humanity, as a precious gift.
And remember that even if our differences are very important, we know that getting into faith fights is a bit far from what God want from us.

@@zeeonlineworldsink what into us? The saints ain’t dead. They alive in heaven. And God used messengers many times in the Bible… why didn’t he go himself? Right cause he entrusts his other creations with carrying out his work. Jesus asked us to treat Mary like our mother and it is literally taught to us that God will answer the prayers of the people in his favor so why wouldn’t we ask Mary to pray for us? Why wouldn’t we admire them and aspire to be like them when they were the people in Gods favor? God loves Mary and all the saints, he trusts them enough to be with him in heaven and he will listen to them if they pray in our behalf. How does that not make sense to y’all? Probably cause you haven’t read enough so read the Bible more. Y’all can hold y’all’s own belief and we respect it but it seems we are never extended the same courtesy.

Loved the one about people seeking Peter, Paul and Mary to pray on they’re behalf. Some are fooled and swear by this not realizing that they can go to the source.
The fool here is you because you have no knowledge about the catholic faith yet you want to speak about it.
Put this in your little brain, catholic don’t ask Mary or the saints to pray on their behalf. They ask them to pray with and for them, the same you ask your friends your pastors or church members to pray with and for you when you are going through something.
FYI, the Bible you have right now is made possible by Catholics. Jesus never wrote anything, it tooks Catholics to put everything together for you fool
Yeah, and it’s crazy that most Catholics don’t even read the Bible. They just follow whatever the Church or Pope says, and read whatever scriptures the Church assigns for mass.
