So like I’ve always been Christian but I’m really trying to get into it more and when I was younger I thought that you prayed before eating and at night but now if I’m thankful for something or I’m happy or mad I pray and say what I’m grateful and thankful for.
Think of it this way, try to talk to God as often as possible as the Bible tells us to "pray without ceasing". That doesn't just mean formal prayers, but actual conversations with the Heavenly Father. For ex: today while doing dishes, I was having a conversation with God about personal stuff that was going on. It felt good being in His presence just talking to Him like you would with a parent.
Seeing all these Christians portraying their faith in a confident and silly (yet respectful and serious) manner just makes me so happy.

So like I’ve always been Christian but I’m really trying to get into it more and when I was younger I thought that you prayed before eating and at night but now if I’m thankful for something or I’m happy or mad I pray and say what I’m grateful and thankful for.
Think of it this way, try to talk to God as often as possible as the Bible tells us to "pray without ceasing". That doesn't just mean formal prayers, but actual conversations with the Heavenly Father. For ex: today while doing dishes, I was having a conversation with God about personal stuff that was going on.
It felt good being in His presence just talking to Him like you would with a parent.
