To add some things about the game instead of making a whole other video. There is going to be 130 cars, multiple game modes, day one crossplay, a sticker editor like forza, and an actual story for the campaign.
I hope they do away with the blind boxes. :(

They brought back Way 2 Fast and Splittin' Image II... Let's hope more "classic original cars" are coming to the game

The game dying after one month is totally their fault because they just dumped DLC after DLC without caring about improving the flawed core game mechanics.
@@nuferusi As well as one of the flaws being the terrible online. As well as having a really good track editor with really terrible implementation to actually use those tracks.

I've rewatched the trailer like 10 times now and I'm STILL hyped even if this is just an announcement trailer! Here's to hoping we see more cars, more of the game modes, the track builder overhaul, story mode, and the overall gameplay down the road! Loved the original Unleashed and am still playing it to this day.
Also noticed that Car-Fu reference from the Speed Racer videogame from 0:33 to 0:36.....wonder if that means we'll have something similar as a gameplay element too.😈

@@TheJoviLovi Milestone acknowledged the 1st game was good but not how they hoped it'd be. Hence why more gameplay elements are being brought in such as tuning, some car-fu style shunting and a skill tree, as well as an even larger car roster including those from Fast & Furious (which was just announced today). Yes we could've got this in the 1st game, but this *was* Milestone's 1st entry into the Hot Wheels brand.
so nah, I'd say they're actually trying to make a better HW game and they're off to a better start this time around.

What I'm hoping for the new game you can change the wheels of a Hot Wheels car instead of just coloring them maybe add speed racer and hopefully add more Hot Wheel cars from previous Hot Wheels games

Man I really wish they would put in some acceleracers realm track modules in as well. Also I’m glad the Mattel is calming down with all these weird IP franchise cars.
I'm going to wait until it comes out to see if I want to buy it, the first game wasn't supported nearly as much as it should have been and the servers where left unprotected and open to attacks.

It definitely looks better than the original, I just hope it gives us better maps to work with, the original's weren't that great, never got the dlc, but they looked like they wouldn't work for me either, I'd like if say we could make a track underwater, in a sewer....you know more interesting stuff, it looks like we have at least one that's actually outside and not in a building, so that's a plus.

can't wait to see what vids/races you're gonna have when this comes out
Looks awesome, but one problem. The first game has only been out for a year and a half, and there's already a sequel???!!! Why not just update the first game instead? There's no way I just spent a lot of money on DLCs on the first game just for the first game to be abandoned after a couple of months just to make a quick sequel, which is basically just an overpriced expansion. The only way im getting this is if they:
- Allow the DLCs purchased from the first game to be transferred over or allow the user to download the purchased cars / modules for free
- Have AI race on custom tracks in single-player
- Have a battle race mode that plays like HW: BEAT THAT!
- Tone down the loot crates / pay to win mechanics
- Allow tracks created on the first game to be playable on the sequel
- Have licensed music instead of generic royalty free music that gets old and repetitive real quick to the point I get a headache
- A tutorial that goes fully in depth on the entire track builder options and settings
- A discount on those who pre-ordered the first game
- Fix that super annoying, soul crushing track builder bug that prevents you from place down any track pieces and requires you to start over from scratch to fix it
If the sequel contains some of that especially the first request, then I'll buy it.
The Boulder piece and Deora II being in the teaser pretty much give away most if not all the dlc pieces/cars would be returning

After reading this comments section, it seems that unleashed 2 is bringing speed racer fans out of the woodwork just like unleashed 1 brought the acceleracers fans out, i thought i was the only one who remembered that game

I really hope they up the online features this time. I mainly bought the game because I wanted to make stages and play on them with my friends and it sucks you can't even do that. Hopefully you can in the sequel

God I didn't notice that this was from 3 weeks ago after I watch the Nintendo Direct. And YES!!! a New Sequel and Improvements from the 1st game and of course we can see more Acceleracers Cars! (And oh yeah... -Character Cars- ...) And hopefully Super Mario and Mario kart!

If I'm reading your question right, you don't need the first one to play the second one, it's just gonna be the same game but better hopefully. There wasn't even any story in the first one.

This game smells like a cash grab to me. Not only is it too early for a sequel but they barely supported the first one with drip fed content and a lot of passes.
They copied the jumping and sideslide from cars 2 game💀(its a jok)
Just looked at the xbox store page for this game and you know what it says? Rated Everyone and it says "Users interact" and "In game purchases" so they made this trailer before it was rated because of the Rating pending at the beginning. And in the premium bundles there's cars to buy and season passes. Very scummy Milestone. Definitely will be skipping this game unless if it came out on game pass.
