Yep.. taking them apart can get things moved around. An earlier version that I have looks very similar. It just beeped after an assembly. Finally looked a the two bottom parts. It did not look right, unhooked them, and put them together and they closed tight. Then it worked. I could assume corrosion at those contact parts could also cause problems. The cart stays in the car's trunk all the time. Something else to consider.
THANK YOU! Just upgraded Mom's batteries to 12v18AH to give her more longevity and the beep codes said overcharged...so hit TH-cam and tried putting it into D from Neutral and IT WORKED!!! You saved the day! THANK YOU! Still going to totally charge it up to max and see if it still gives me that code, but you are wonderful!

Thanks so much! I thought that drive was in between the top and bottom, so whenever I have to put it in neutral I can never get it back in drive! I just pushed my scooter all the way home. ugh.
This worked for me. I’m extremely thankful as my scooter had been functioning perfectly then after about an hour of being turned off it would give me the 5 beep code. I tried your suggestions and it was successful after the third try. I’m not sure I did it exactly right the first two times to be honest, 😂
@@georgesworkshop8600 Hi, I work in a mobility shop. We've replaced both parts, new throttle and speed pot as recommended by suppliers. But still same issue. The scooter is out of warranty, but was never used. Must be internal issue somewhere? It's a lithium battery in the Alumalite.
i brought my pride pursuit xl mobility scooter three years ago i brought it new why is the blue power light keep flashing but it doent beep and when i go forward or backwards the battery lights go down thank you
@@georgesworkshop8600 it’s all sorted now where the battery box sits I cleaned the contacts the horn started to work but was still beeping each time I put the key in I know it was standing for a very long time so I moved it backwards and forwards a god few times and then it started to move when pressing the forward lever and since yesterday haven’t had any problems with it took it out last night and today and all good now your video really helped 👍
Hi Chris, If the battery is old, or was left to go flat without use many times, then battery needs to be replaced. You can try to reset fuse / push the button. Or replace a simple fuse on the fuse board.

Hi, Without diagnosing it’s hard to say anything. Firstly, I would start with batteries. Testing if you can or trying different batteries. May one of your friend has scooter too and you can try their batteries?
I have another video regards beeping. Please count how many beeps do you hear and search on google for the error regards the number. Different number of beeps mean different error.

That is not locked, it’s in gear. Other words switched from free wheel to drive.

Many things could be. Let’s start with the battery. Reset the fuse on the box, check fuses…

Let’s count how many beeps do you hear and with make/ modell plus beep number search on internet for error code. It will tell you what need to do.
My gogo elite traveler does not charge. It is not the battery charger. It’s not the connections what’s wrong?

The battery for my GoGo Elite shows a green light, but the scooters battery level just shows the red light and no others.
