    My son has done this, every since he graduated from college. He did some jobs in Alaska, and the west coast. He saved up enough cash for his next adventure, he is moving to New Zealand to do a Masters degree, fully paid for from his savings. There is nothing wrong with these young people, who have a free work ethic adapted to the modern world we live in.

    Just buy stocks every month instead of a house. Its going to appreciate at around the same rate, actually maybe even more than money you put into a mortgage. Just dont save the money in cash only. I made that mistake for years. Just if you dont buy a house thats ok as long as you take the extra money and buy stocks each month. And buy quality funds dont try to pick single stocks.

    You have to check with your company. Most companies are only setup tax wise in certain states and can not hire people who "live" outside those states. If you are living in a random state or worse, another country, they will fire you. Trying to do this in Europe is a whole other ball of wax if you don't have a real address in the US where you file taxes and almost every US-based company will straight up prohibit it.

    • @jwlsngold5026
      @jwlsngold5026 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If he is a "remote worker" the only tax to be taken out would be his home base office (where his co. office is located).
      My husband's current office is in OR but we live in WA, my husband has been remote since the pandemic started and will continue to be remote as his company decided to eliminate the unneeded office space. We pay OR personal income tax, WA has none, but because my husband does not commute to the OR office we will get a refund for all of the personal income taxes taken out of his payroll. 2021 it was almost $10k

    As a digital nomad, you pay $500/month rent, no tax (research foreign earned income exclusion), strong USD. The downside is you feel like you lost "home" since you are now own your own traveling random airbnb and hotels. People will laugh at you as well being YOLO but if you save a lot more living outside of US then it's all worth it.

    Good video/ RETIREMENT BY 30/ OTR TRUCK DRIVING NOMAD/ Seriously just go get a van. Even if it's old as long as it runs well. And while you're building up cash. Just get a gym membership and stop paying rent so you can get something better.
    Digital nomad is absolutely possible in the Modern Age. And yes long-term I recommend getting it a good vehicle. But an old vehicle can be the starter van that's like a starter house.
    Basically the fact that you're not paying rent or utilities or any other nonsensical bills. That allows you to get that edge far faster than normal life.
    You can do it 👍💪 just learned tactics and when the game relatively Young.
    SIDE NOTE / RETIREMENT BY 30 IS ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE.
    Normally I drive truck over the road. And when you consider you can make 80k with no bills to 100k with no bills.
    If you're single with no children you can easily win the game.
    Good luck. And Godspeed.

    One of the stupidest phrases I've read so far. Digital Nomad. You are basically deciding to hide behind a keyboard to talk to people, without facing the repercussions of the words you say face to face. Basically, a social coward, which is what today's society continues to become because of today's technology.
