Hi Satheesh, Security groups use sets of inbound and outbound rules to control traffic to and from resources in a VPC. However, security groups operate at separate layers in the VPC, has slightly different default rules, and don't handle response traffic the same way. Hope this helps :)
I am facing a issue, I have a ec2 instance inside a private subnet VPC. I am trying to connect to the ec2 instance via ssh from windows machine but not able to do so. My system IP is added in the inbound rules. Any clue? its saying connection timeout.

Sir I have one doubt at 32minutes you have created my.pem file and then later on you have copied key data in access.pem file. Where you have used my.pem key file?
from all the videos I have watched for VPC , this is the one which starts from ABC's and goes in depth in a user friendly way

after creating access.pem file we enter private IP then it requires " Enter passphrase for key 'access.pem': ". what is it?
