    Much appreciated. how are we going to diff bw AWS Lambda and EBStalk. Lambda has its own limitations such as execution timeout and Memory limitations. But how is EBStalk different when compared to the type of task being performed

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Gulbag, with the help of lambda, you can ignore where your code is running. You just deploy a package that AWS lambda will execute somewhere. You pay by execution time.
      Elastic Beanstalk on the other hand, provides a more typical execution environment: you code your application as usual and AWS will take care of provisioning your web server and all the necessary things including scaling.
      Hope that helps!

    There is no Database instance available in beanstalk ?

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Sunny, Any instance that you launch with Amazon RDS is completely independent of Elastic Beanstalk and your Elastic Beanstalk environments, and is not dependent on Elastic Beanstalk for configuration. This means that you can use any DB engine and instance type supported by Amazon RDS, even those not used by Elastic Beanstalk.
      Hope this helps!

    For EBS, is it really necessary to manually configure our own ES2,VPC, Security Grps etc. or we can go with the default services provided by AWS-EBS??

    • @edurekaIN

      Hey Rabisankar, No, its not all necessary to configure those details maually. You can always go for default settings

    What is difference between Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling and AWS Elastic Beanstalk ?

    • @mohannainar5061
      @mohannainar5061 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Auto scaling is you can set the limit like if the CPU usage exceeds 70% for example then use add additional server , if the CPU usage is less than 10% then use only one server. There is no relation between autoscaling and elastic bean stalk.

    • @Vmr48765
      @Vmr48765 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In AutoScaling the EC2 instances are a part of IaaS while in Beanstalk is PaaS environment out of the box but can be configured as an IaaS
