Hii!! .. Sir.. in my stand towards active euthanasia is that this is very immature concept till now specially country like India, its difficult for people's with drastically different religions, believes and there emotional sentiments towards religion .. to understand this broad concept In proper way .. REASON... because it's indirectly supporting sucide.. and also it affect the old- age peoples group very dramatically, because that age ( 70-90)group people lost their ability to think according to situation in most of the case and complete depends on emotional thought ,.. Another reason being, there are many chances that, rather than aiding people it will use as new criminal weapon.. and may used in criminal case, people will also use it for stealing property.. or it will also affect the legacy of right to live .. for legalization of active euthanasia there must be very strict and strong supporting law and another authority to chek this hole process, proper knowledge is also paly vary crucial role otherwise, in our country it will use as weapon for stealing property or any other bad use rather than aiding people.. Thankyou Harshita jain ..
Sir, I believe ASSISTED DYING should be supported as this could be a way to have a dignified life till the end of one . We know it is enshrined in art 21 (right to life) . According to me People must have this right as it supports personal autonomy and it is allowing dying only with limitations and not absolutely and equally applied to all the citizens this is just meant and limited to people who might spend the final moments of their life with dignity. Restrictions and strict guidelines are there to prevent misuse of this. I agree that this is UNATURAL DEATH but still it alligns with the fundamental principles of natural justice to all who are unfortunately stuck in such a difficult situation which is really difficult to overcome. This way it can really provide a way for those who need this. But at the same time THIS ASSISTED DYING can also lead to other harmful consequences but that must be regulated by authorities and mostly one can definitly see its positive implications and ethically also it is valid as per me because we should wonder that CAN at any point our ethics support a person to suffer utmost pain and suffering in the final moments of his/ her life.?... I REALLY DONT THINK SO Thank you sir!
No should assisted dying be legalised . my opinion * palliative care and hospice sevices can provide pain relief and support without ending life . may argue that it contra ducts that hippocratic outh , which requires doctors to do no harm.
Sir this is my personal opinion because again you said that what is your response on assisted dying.. Personally I am a karm believer and I guess that this should not get supported because time of death is not something we should have control of... Even logically Legalizing assisted dying may lead to a slippery slope where society becomes more accepting of ending lives, potentially leading to abuses or the devaluation of vulnerable groups like the elderly, disabled, or mentally ill.
