Thanks Jennifer, we’ve always been lucky in Auckland with the number of markets we have, each with their own flavour. Yes indeed there are some very delicious food choices there. 😀
Thanks Gracie, probably one of the better newer markets even though it has got smaller recently with the loss of a big car park they were using. There is a much older market not far away which I’m working on a video at the moment and I’m not sure the competition is necessarily a good thing for small traders. 😀

Busy place, nice market. You've captured some stunning and appetizing images of the foods available. That rueben sandwich and oh the New York cheesecake, I think I'm a fan. I am a big fan of farmers markets and it's nice to see what's available in your local area. Those carved wooden cutting boards and charcuterie boards are really nice. Wow! Great tour. 👌👌🧑🌾👩🌾 Cheers to the local food producers, artisans and creators.
Thanks a lot 😀, we have some pretty decent markets here , OK not a patch on Granville Island but still probably more like your away from the centre versions. Definitely hard to walk away from any of them with your belt size the same and some good quality vegetables . I especially like the wood work with the inlaid Paua which I think has similarities to what you might just call Abalone. (Paua is just a species of Abalone) Paua shell is super popular here for crafters and of course they are eaten especially by the indigenous Maori. It's a pretty tough "meat" and I've only had it minced finely and eaten as a fritter but I'm sure there are other ways to make it less chewy 😀

Thanks Anna , there are a lot of markets in NZ, certainly around the Auckland area. Some of them have been quite badly impacted by our unusually (or is that the new norm) wet weather the last couple of years.
