I love how Athena actually sees the severity of going around the underworld fighting against legendary beasts rather than "LET'S HAVE A FEAST ONCE YOU GET UP HERE, BOYY!!"
It's interesting to note that even Athena is shown to have her faults here, which is kinda nice since generally speaking she's often portrayed as the perfect one who can do no wrong among the Olympians. She definitely has that common problem where being the smartest person in the family/group can make one overestimate their capabilities or underestimate everyone else or assuming that they alone know the best answer for everything all the time. Ultimately, I think these dialogue options show that while Athena probably is the most aware of the severity of the situation. she herself is also contributing to the problem because in part, Athena is having a hard time letting go of her ego.
@@thebaseandtriflingcreature174 Well compared to the rest of the family, Athena is still well ahead of the sanity bell curve, and if Aphrodite is considered the fairest judge, then it's the world that's insane!

I'm honestly surprised Athena and ares don't work together better Fighting through the underwold is a war in it of itself So having two god that represent the two side of war would be amazing
It actually makes a lot of sense. While Ares and Athena have a lot of overlap, being representative of combat, they're on total opposite ends of the spectrum. Athena is all about protection and honor, while Ares is all about conquest and bloodshed.
@@grahamkristensen9301 i would say Ares is more about strenght and the will to fight, which yeah, does lead to bloodshed and all that, which he also gladly embraces, but looking more into his myths, he was actually leaning towards anyone who wanted strenght for whathever cause as long as they had the will to fight for it. strangely enough, he was the god woman prayed to when they wanted to fight against abusive relationships, rapists, all that stuff.

Zagreus: "Sir, you should have been there to witness Aphrodite and Athena throwing shade at each other...it was epic!"
Achilles: "Trust me. I know."
0:50 I like how this interaction is literally Athena comes in, throws shades at Ares, and leaves
Just like in mythology
Jeez, being the sane Olympian must SUCK.
Sane with an asterisk, she still gets pissy when you don’t pick her.
Trojan war and the apple and all that.

The screenshot for Athena, makes her look like she is a sassy distant aunt.
Except she's the passive aggressive distant cousin.
