Breathtaking, she slays every great song she sings. There is no one else who can touches me so deeply with a live performance like Glennis...goosbumps shivers to the max. Her greatest strength lies in the emotions and convictions she puts in every song she sings and the way she connects with her audience, such an amazing story teller. An even greater cover sung by Glennis is " Listen " from Beyonce just stunning beautiful.

Thanks guys for reacting to this. Whatever Glennis sings it's going to be soulful and her own interpretation. What I like about her is she uses her great back up singers well to provide harmonies, even if they're not singing much. It just adds flavor to the song and her band is also always onpoint. Thanks, fan since 8 years ! Glennis learnt to sing since the age of 9 with the songs of Whitney Houston. She won a tv contest aged of almost 16 years old. Glennis gave the priority to her son and never wanted to leave her country. She has her songs in dutch of course but likes the covers

Whitney tribute, she is now busy rehearsing with her band and backing singers because 17 May she has her tribute to Whitney in Tel Aviv and in November two nights in Belgium.
I have seen Glennis multiple times in concert and i was also at this concert in front of the stage. her very first big concert. It was fantastic and she always always delivers!

Glad you finally discovered Goddess Grace some time ago. I follow her since 1994 when she won a talentshow in the Netherlands called "The soundmix Show" where talents sing songs of their idols live on stage in front of a jury and she won with a song called "One Moment In Time" by Whitney Houston. The video is on youtube so you can check that out. The Soundmixshow was an idea of the host of the show called Hennie Huisman. You could say that he was the the inventor of what we nowadays call "The Voice" and earlier "Idols" and all the other talentshows.
To me Glennis is the GOAT and the best live performer in the world, she never lets you down. The song you are reacting to here is from her live performance on september 15th 2012 in the (then called) Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. She sung 27 songs in 2,5 hour and song nr. 26 was Listen by Beyoncé, talking about guts ! and her last song was her nr. 1 hit in Dutch called "Afscheid" which means as much as "goodbuy." They are all on youtube and they are all worth watching and reacting to.

You are very right! And the crazy thing is, she sounds even better live when you are there! I didn't believe that was possible before I went to a concert and was hooked. I had sky high expectations, but she exceeded them. She really does sound even better live!

I suggest you to watch that whole concert from 2012. It is incredibly good. Her live singing is just outstanding.
Glennis could sing a phone book and make it sound great! She is one of the best female vocalist going. I've followed her on TH-cam for a few years. I love The Ladies of Soul that she is part of. Dunno if you know them or not but one of the ladies, Berget Lewis auditioned for one of our talent shows!! (Idol)She sang Purple Rain. They are Amazeballs. Holland has a lot of talent.

Glennis is no longer popular in the Netherlands, recently she and her son beat up employees in a supermarket in Amsterdam, it was all over the news, she has completely disappeared from the public eye.
Well you turn a mosquito into an elephant again, Glennis is and remains popular with her fans and she always will be, she is the best singer at this level. Glennis made a mistake but she stood up for her son, and I as a mother would have gone through fire for my child, and how it ended is always the question, she did her punishment and now it's done she also has to move on, making mistakes is human and you learn from that.
@Populier Vogel it's people like you who won't let go of the past no matter how many times she apologized and acknowleged her mistake. She's still the best you've got. Appreciate what you've got. Stop tearing her down. I'm frankly soo tired of hearing about the incident and the negative comments. You should support her, yet you continue to put her down. And it was'nt as recent as you insist it was. Get over it.

Jeez dude, old news and boring......🥱😴.💤...Fortunately, public opinion is slowly turning in a positive direction towards Glennis, especially now that most people have come to realize that much has been exaggerated, that we have been lied to and half-truths have been spread by the juicechannels, tabloids and media for almost a year. People feel that Glennis has been punished enough for the mistake she made and that she should get back to doing what she does best.....which is singing and performing. with her Godgiven Voice. People are sick and tired of the hate and bashing of well-known and famous people in the Netherlands by the pathetic internet scumbags, the tabloids and Juicechannels.
