Thank you guys for commenting on this clip from GG what people reacted about Glennis getting into a fight is correct but she stood up for her son what any mother would do and that's gotten a little out of hand she's there for tried and did her sentence and now she has to move on with her life and her performances, she is one of the best singers in the Netherlands.

Glennis started singing at nine because of her idol Whitney. Like Gabriel she is self taught, no vocal training. She won Ms. Holland at 16 singing Whitney's One Moment in Time. The rest is history. A very underrated artist. The best live performer we have today.
She is mostly known as a WH cover singer. She made whole new masterworks of art out of those ballads, listen f. i. to Home, Saving all my love, I have Nothing and many others. She said she wants to stay as close as possible to the originals, because you shouldn’t interpret perfection. All other vocalists have no other options than sing it their own way, because lack of skills and it’s always inferior.
However those WH songs are just a small part of her huge portfolio, including own written songs, mostly in Dutch, her native language.
I therefore hope you wil review a non WH cover. May I suggest Always. Somebody posted: “I am sorry Bon Jovi, this song emotionally belongs to ms. Grace.”

Maybe you could comment on Glennis singing Whitney’s One moment in time , with the Noordpool orchestra , it think you’ll like it .. I think it’s an amazing performance … I’ve see Glennis perform many time here over in the Netherlands 🎉

Look at Glennis singing Home. One of the hardest Whitney songs to sing. Whitney rarely sang it live - similiarly Whitney never sang run to you live

Whitney's "Run To You" is from The Bodyguard Soundtrack. This was a major hit back in '92-93!
She is a native Dutch speaker. She is from The Netherlands, where Dutch is spoken.
She is so good and the Netherlands don,t deserve her!!..because she protect her son they want to play her songs anymore..I am Hollandis but I never understood the hypocrisy.over here❤.I love her no matter what

This was not allowed and this got completely out of hand in the store
when glennis heard this she went to the supermarket to defend her son and i understand this if you are a mother.
but this has escalated into yet another argument.

I so hope that this little spoiled brat of son of hers realises the enormous damage he has done tohis mom's carreer by not telling her the truth about his conflict with the supermarket staff. And yes she is a real born and bread Amsterdam girl that doesn't take sh*t from anyone.

I am sorry boys. Pauzing the video for the fifth time just to tell us how close she is to Whitney Houston? The two of you? Nothing about her incredible voice control, her convincing, soulful storytelling, her beautiful head voice, her perfect diction, taking her time, her on point transitions?
Her confidence, her showmanship, how she fills that huge stage all by her self?
There is much more to say than repeating each other how much she resembles to WH and how much you like that.
Do you know there doesn’t exist a life recording of this song by ms. Houston and that you therefore are comparing a live performance with a studio perfected version by ms. Houston? Do you know why ms. Grace chooses to stay as close as possible to the original when it comes to covering a WH ballad? Because you shouldn’t interpret perfection, as she once said. You commented on her version of Always (Bon Jovi) so you must be aware of the fact that she can make any song her own if she wants to.
Maybe do some research first before stammering the obvious.
Glennis is a great artist and singer ! ... but : has a spoiled son , that brought het into trouble ! ... ; smoking in a supermarket , the staff orderd him to leave , and he hurd himself by leaving that store ,
teling at home , that there had been a fight in that shop ! .. it was not true ! ... Glennis .. as a mother .. went to the store , and it got out of hand !... the son ruined her reputation !
