My understanding is that worm leachate shouldn’t be used in leafy greens or anything you eat within a time period as it isn’t necessarily broken down properly. Tea made from worm castings is different. Also if we are getting a lot of worm leachate, it is likely our worm bins are too wet. They need a moist environment but not wet. Some people worry about the risk of unhealthy pathogens in an anaerobic tea like leachate. I am cautious so use any on ornamental plants and the castings around my edibles.
