Yellow GSE, light blue t-shirts...HE on the Croc Farm, Miracles and Hornets flying over, cheap beers at the boozer, good times all round. Hey did someone say maybe we should not have ticked the delete launch bars box?

Craig, yes we did still have Mirages then. These Hornets were the first ones the RAAF received in 1985. The last Mirage wasn't retired from squadron flying until 1988. This deployment at TVL was of Mirages and Hornets. I took the video.

I took the video; it was Nov 1985. Wiki shows the RAAF had 8 on line at the end of 85.

I agree. Bruce Mouatt and Ross Fox (squadron 3)and took delivery of first 2 from Melbourne to Williamtown in 1985. I think another 3 were delivered that September.

      @@dantheman7900 Bruce and Ross picked up A models : A21 - 8 & A21 - 9.
101 & 102 flew across from USA and then 103 to 107 ( B models ) were built at GAF , so some time after 107 was flown Bruce and Ross came down to Avalon to pick up 8 & 9
