  • The shocking root cause of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease and how to prevent it, with Dr Ray Dorsey. Head to boncharge.com/5minutebody for a 25% discount with code 5MB25.
In this episode, my guest speaker, Dr Ray Dorsey, a Professor Of Neurology and Director of the Center for Human Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Rochester Medical Center, will share the shocking root cause of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Access the full show notes, including referenced articles, books, and additional resources: www.5minutebody.com/lab/dr-ra...
Dr. Dorsey explains how environmental toxins in our food, water, and air are at the root cause of brain diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. He and his team of 14 neurologists have published evidence proving that a chemical found in drinking water, and food and common cleaning products is causing the alarming rise of Parkinson’s disease, and specifically, air pollution is highly linked to Alzheimer’s Disease.
In this episode, Dr Dorsey details the 3 common toxic chemicals in our environment and simple protocols to implement relating to the food we eat, what we drink, and the air we breathe.
This episode is important for every person who wants to prevent brain diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's, and particularly for people who have an existing diagnosed brain disease.

MSG is being packed into foods, even under many other names. It can be in one product under various names. It's an excitotoxin. Too much over stimulates the nervous system, wearing it out, leaving the nervous system and brain open to all kinds of diseases.

Met a man 35 years ago that worked at one of the water treatment plants in a major Midwest city. He has a college degree in chemistry. Two others also work at the same plant. They all operate the same. Once every hour, 24/7, they check the water to make sure it's safe to drink. He told me "you couldn't pay me enough money to drink that water because of the chemicals they put in it to make it safe to drink." READ that several times and let it sink in. All water treatment plants operate in the same way.

There are things far more important than this topic that people need to wake up to, and they won't even read it once. And if it takes them several times to read this simple comment before they understand it, then it will take them hundreds of times to read the most important.

My grandparents lived on small farm as i was growing up. Of course, all natural food from their gardens, cattle, chickens etc. Everyone on that side of my family live to middle 90's. But grandparents ALWAYS concerned with their gut, and bowel movements. Doses of castor oil taken as needed. Thought they were a little old fashioned and ",strange" because of that, however, now i believe the oldtimers knew MORE than current doctors. Your G.I. tract RULES.

Growing their own food at that time was probably still fairly healthy, now you cannot buy so called "organic food" because they would have to grow the food without being exposed to the air or water (unless distilled). In other words, they think it is organic when in fact if put under the microscope, they would find a lot of chemicals in them, so people are paying through the nose for this organic food and getting no benefits from it. What they are putting in the water and what is being sprayed in the air, unfortunately, is affecting EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING, bar none. In a way, life at this time is like Russian roulette, how your body deals with the chemicals is due to your genes, or if you are spiritual, due to what you are here on Earth to do! Wishing you a blessed day!

My once athletic brother is only 64 and has advanced Parkinsons and Alzheimer's. He suffered from anxiety as a teenager, and took PeptoBismil almost daily, and likely destroyed his gut bacteria. Gut health is certainly linked to brain health, he married young, had a stressful life and became depressed. He married a malignant narcissist. He was put on anti depressants for over 25 years and we KNOW that is largely responsible for his diseases. The doctors don't care, or just comfortably ignorant. They just keep writing prescriptions so they can get their kickbacks from Big Pharma. I am sure the environment doesn't help either. I wish doctors would pull their heads out of the Rockerfeller Medicine Educational system and start to ask questions and connect the dots.

Thank you for this video. I watched my mom disintegrate because of Parkinson’s. She is free at peace now.❤
I promised myself I would take care of my health and in the process, the health of my family. We tried helping my mom through diet change, there were various medications she was prescribed that I threw in the trash, statin drugs.
We can starve the beast and bring those that feed off of our suffering down; all of us together by eating a healthy diet.

Have you found that cognitive dissonance and just plain ignorance are a huge barrier to helping ppl to help themselves? I watch many of my closest loved ones develop conditions and diseases then suffer and die horrible deaths because they were too stubborn to want to change their eating habits to a healthier diet and lifestyle. They got to want to help themselves first and most people don't. It's sad.

Was shocked when I was told my prescription for oxygen was denied by insurance, to this day still have same issues and no one has ever done a thing, concerned about early damages as I struggle at times to think straight, Im quite aware heavy metals is at the root of my issues. Unfortunately holistic detoxing cant correct severe metals exposure, as already did that for many years still had off the charts levels and relocated several times so that didnt help either.

When I worked for IBM for 12 years as a tech, I pretty much bathed in trichloroethane, except I remember it called trichlorethane without the second o and was told by IBM that it was different from trichloroethane and was safe. If it was trichloroethane, it sounds like I am screwed.

It would be interesting to see this Doctor study highly polluted places like some cities in India: some areas are so polluted that you cannot see the sky and it burns one’s lungs and eyes just to be outdoors, not to mention the carpet of garbage as far as the eye can see. Given how polluted it is, the more interesting question becomes why isn’t every second person in these areas afflicted by Parkinson’s? If we know pollution causes Alzheimers, I’m more interested in what the Indian’s doing differently to offset their permanent exposure to the corrosive effects of heavy pollution? Why aren’t entire cities full of these types of patients?

Indians consume curries and masalas (mixes of many ancient spices) which are powerful anti-virals, especially hot chili peppers. They protect and regulate systemic function. (Ayurvedic medicine from India is worth learning about.)

The US suffers massive amounts of brain disease. I do know too much use of unregulated herbal medicines with mercury in them are causing liver failure there. Also tumeric can cause liver failure I follow an Indian liver Dr trying to educate Indians and they won't listen .

Veteran here, in my mid-30s and have a severe neuro-autoimmune disease. It came on suddenly in late 2020, not long after having mesenteric lymphadenopathy (swollen gut lymph nodes).
I’ve seen over 300 doctors and am largely gaslit by the VA. 100% bed bound in a non-VA nursing home (located in NYC), neglected and having severe CNS and vascular decline.
I’ve been told my military exposures or immunizations may have set me up for this disease.

My neighbor who was in his late 70's eventually got Parkinson's. He was a transporter for Shell Oil. I believe him delivering this gas to one place to another contributed to his disease. Because as this doctor is saying, environmental toxins, such as exhaust systems can significantly impair one's health.

I hang dry my clotheds after washing in cold water and find my clothes don't shrink at least not enough to notice too much. Some clothes have to be dry cleaned. I don't have those kind any longer. I miss the crisp look of dry cleaned clothes because I never have been able to iron as well as my mother :). We use to wring clothes out after being washed and put in frig until time to iron, kept the wrinkles out and mildew from happening...
