- Dalyan has the famous Iztuzu beach. Was it as good as they say? Yes! ıt was brilliant!
We covered in this long video the beach, the town of Dalyan by day and by night, the ancient city of kaunos and not to forget a fantastic river delta boat ride.
Dalyan is a green, back to nature little seaside town that has lot's to offer for a short break away or long stay. So much to do!
If you are a town person, then the town has so many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in such a small place. You will never be disappointed.
What if your a History! The amazing ancient city of Kaunos built around the 9th Century BC is waiting for you with it's ancient buildings. Entry is only 3 Euros.Dalyan is also famous for it's magnificent Rock Tombs that over look the river and town. Mesmerizing!
The area is an area that has the Caretta Caretta Turtles. They are everywhere so keep your eyes open! There is also a very interesting Turtle hospital close by that is worth a visit. Not in this video but recommended.
So, Dalyan we love you. It was fun on Iztuzu beach, it was fun on the boat getting there, it was fun in the bars and cafes and we just loved the river cruise down the delta so much.
Overall we give it a 9 out of 10.Get yourself to Dalyan folks you will never forget this amazing location.

Great video - subscribed! While you were there did you have any experience of how good/bad is Türk Telekom mobile coverage for data around Dalyan? The coverage map doesn't look brilliant, but I'm curious about reality in 2024 - thanks.

@sharondurkan hi..so.. we booked just a boat trip to the beach. They had a full day excursion onboard so after the beach they took them for lunch. We did not do lunch. They dropped us off at the car ferry on the other side. We waited for the Ferry and hitched a lift upto kaunas ancient city. We hitched back down to the Riverside restaurants. The same company we did boat trip with own the rrstsurant and we had to sat we were on their tour...they then took us free back over. It was perfect! Total...300tl each lol

Hi kirsty..thanks for watching. . Dalyan as a day trip is brilliant but 2 days perfect. Get a half day boat down to the beach and ask them to drop you off on the way back at the car ferry drop of for Kuanos the old city. When your there wait till the car ferry comes and just hitch a lift to kaunos. On the way down hitch from there to the river restaurants. You can then boat over to dalyan for 50tl . Hitching is easy..everyone will help ..lol enjoy..its great fun 😁
@mrfethiyeootandabootturkey1888 Thanks Ronnie have you got any links for any hotels in the area just somewhere to lay your head not bothered about pool etc just somewhere clean bed and bathroom trying to convince andy to do a couple of days in dalayan before we go to apartment !! We were just gonna book a day trip after seeing your video feel like 2 days are needed to do it justice !! Just realised no pic on my profile skinny daves daughter here aka dave king 😂

@mrfethiyeootandabootturkey1888 ok will do just need to convince his nibs the thought of doing 3 hours of travelling in a day just to get there seems a waste so was thinking land late 30th Aug get transfer to dalayan stay 2 nights get transfer to pick us up and go apartment still not braved hiring a car yet !! I'm a confident driver but the thought of driving over there petrifies me 😂😂 might try in the winter when it's quieter

He gave us a boat tour to the beach then dropped us off at the point for Kaunos....and then later included the boat back across to the Dalyan side so give him a call when you are there
