Great video! You have e a new sub! I adore Dalyan. We were there in August for three weeks. Our 12th visit. It’s very easy to catch “dalyanitus” and get drawn back every year. Even after 12 visits we still discover new gems in this beautiful little place.
Thank you for the lovely comments Paul and the sub, we really appreciate the support. Yes, we loved Dalyan and would definitely go back again. We do love trying new places though, but never say never to going back.
Thank you for the lovely comments Gerry. A lot of hard work goes into the editing process to make them look as good as possible. Dalyan is a lovely place to go on holiday and can highly recommend it.
Lovely seeing so many of my favourite places in Dalyan.I have been to so many places in Turkey but Dalyan stole my heart, been going for many years now.The monument with the turtle is in memory ot Kaptan June who did so much to conserve the beach and keep it safe for the turtles who lay their eggs there.
It's a beautiful place Amy. Jacqui never had a fancy for Turkey before but she loved it here and was probably a great place for a first experience. Certainly a lot different to some of the experiences I've personally had in the past in other Turkish destinations.
Hi guys, thanks very much for your videos on Dalyan - new subscriber here! I have a question on phone network coverage in Dalyan - do you, or any of your viewers, have any experience of how good or bad Türk Telekom coverage really is for data in Dalyan? The coverage map doesn't look brilliant, but I'm curious about reality in 2024 - thanks.
@99.aa.bb.00 hello and welcome to the channel, thank you for subscribing. Good question but not one I cpuld answer as we just used WiFi when we were there so never had a phone network. E-sims do appear be the way forward, Jacquinused one in May for Zante and it worked well.
@@continentalcoxons thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I'm looking at the eSIM option, coverage willl be with Türk Telekom so just curious as doesn't look to have the coverage of TurkCell. Will likely be worth the gamble either way.
@99.aa.bb.00 we have links to Airalo in our about section for our channel as we are affiliates with them. Maybe have a look there and see what packages they offer, they may have different networks too. Also helps us out as we'd get a small commission for any purchases.
Great video loved it.. we visited in july 23 for 9 nights and the weather was insanely good.. really chilled place with fab restaurants and bars.. what time of year did you go? Didnt see it mentioned anywhere. Thanks!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Think we mention it in the episode before this one as this is the 2nd episode of this particular series. We went in September.
Some friends of ours went to Side in September and loved it. I was in Marmaris around 15 years ago and didn't like it at all. Icmeler looked nice though when we went along there.
Thank you. This was in September last year. I think we mention when it was in the video previous to this, but understand you may have only found us from this video.
Thank you Jayne. Yeah I can't see why not. Plenty of activities you can do from Dalyan, as you will see in forthcoming episodes. Can jump on a bus or boat to the beach too. Plenty good restaurants as well.
I guess it all depends what you wpuld like to see and if you wanted an time to relax. 5 days is probably a good amount of time if you are sightseeing the whole time. Some beautiful places to see in this partocular area.
bars and night life is in bodrum in the region dalyan will be quite thanks to david bellamy and kaptan june to protect the turtles laying eggs on that iztuzu beach dalyan is kept quite and of course light and noise effects the wild life

We've been going to Dalyan every year, bar Convid, since 2005. 2024 is already booked. Love the place!❤
We can see why people return. It's quite a unique holiday destination.
Im itching to go on holiday now 😄
Got you in the mood, that's a good thing
I stayed in Dalyan in 1992, loved it. Had the beach practically to ourselves. Went on a river cruise and walked up to the historical ruins.
It would be interesting to see what it was like back in 1992, bet its changed quite a lot. Great place still.
Same in 2001. Nowadays it’s a different story. Rent a scooter and drive drive drive. Gokbel radar sahin tempesi. It’s beautiful ❤❤
@@continentalcoxonswayyyyyy less houses and villas. Cotton plantation ❤ Sandroads ❤
Remember that storm well was my first night…. Well captured!!!
Yeah it was pretty scary, especially hitting something so close to us. Always great to watch though, love a good storm.
Another excellent video, the details, the scenery and the blue sky’s make it amazing. A top couple as well 😁

Fab video! Looks a lovely place to go if you're trying turkey for the first time. Not at all what I was expecting but somewhere I'd now consider.
