I were just sitting here thinking ( in both book and series), why the hell would pip drink tea from the person she thinks is a murder 😅🙈 I liked the series but I loved the book!
Emma is phenomenal but Cara’s always been my favourite, underrated character and Asha Banks did incredible portraying her. Only readers will understand me when I say this but she is EXACTLY how I imagined Cara in the books, appearance and personality. Actually same for all the characters which is why they were cast so perfectly. Her coming into the school like that had me in an absolute chokehold, I was in tears that scene alone. i actually really enjoyed the show! Ofc there were missed characters and different plot lines but we have to remember it’s an adaptation, and it’s never going to be 100% accurate. Fingers crossed for a second season! 🤞🤞
I definitely had a soft spot for Cara too, Asha really nailed it! I agree with everything you said. Some viewers really want it to be a direct copy but majority of the times, it really is not possible. I would say the only concern I have about the change is Stanley's absence but I saw a theory that they may change that role to the person who saved her at the calamity party
I've enjoyed watching your reactions to the show so much!!! I think reacting to comments or a Q&A style video would be cool! I'd also love to hear more of your thoughts on the agggtm series as a whole, the rest of the books & maybe like your hopes for season 2 (🤞 we get it) 😄💗
Thank you very much! I will definitely get some Q&A style video planned :) If they do come out with more seasons ( I bloody hope so), then I can watch those and talk about the books alongside the series!
A Good Girl's Guide To Murder feels like Dora the Explorer compared to Good Girl, Bad Blood and As Good As Dead. I can't WAIT to see how the tv show adapts those books
By the way, this scene is pretty cute to me and honestly I like that Sal pretty much knew about Andie's situation and tried to help her escape her dad, don't know I just think it kind of gives something more to his character and their relationship, though this might be doing something to Andie's relationship with Becca, cause in the books Andie's plan was mostly go to university with Sal, then to stay with Becca when she would have finished high school and went to university too, not running away like that with him, so my point is: wouldn't that create some issues? I mean, with them running away like that what actually did they plan to do?, stays around where they could get?, like alright that at that point Sal was already 18 so legally he could have left home like that if he wanted to (and his family knew him so if he had been like "sorry if i'm worried you guys but i'll explain later" I think they would have trusted even if still worried and confused) but Andie was still 17, i don't know if she was ABOUT to turn 18 but still, without her parents's permision i don't know if she could have stayed away much longer, and wouldn't had that suspect Jason? Wouldn't had Andie feared for Becca or their mom knowing Jason was a killer?, don't know if i explain myself well but I think maybe it could have worked better if Sal still knew about Jason being an asshole and Andie wanting to leave him and be more like "i'll help you get more, i'll help get at UNI and then we can go live together, maybe in student flats". But anyway the fact of Jason made me wonder, what if he had found out about Elliot too?
I agree, I think it makes their relationship that much sweeter! I didn't include it because of time restraints but they did briefly discuss their plans after they will leave. Sal mentioned about getting a job and other bits like that but I suppose with Andie's struggle in school, I'm not sure that she would've been able to join Sal at uni. He also mentioned that his family would be understanding to their circumstances. But it would be difficult. I do wonder if he knew about Elliot as well and I doubt he would be happy with that
@@analyticalplum Yeah i understood that, I wrote wrong but i meant what they said BEFORE, i understood like "A: he cares about doing something" "S: for a second", but I ain't sure what it meant

This episode made me cry so so much. Especially when Cara came into the school. But I NEED more seasons
That scene was horrible (in a good way). I'm so hopeful for another season!

She definitely had a small lapse of judgement there 😂 Yeah the book was brilliant!
Sooooooo excited for the third season it’s my fav holly jackson book

@@analyticalplum my jaw was on the floor the whole book and especially the end

Is it bad I looked up the actors height difference and it’s 11 inches?!?!
Practically a Subway
30:20 if i remember correctly i dont think we find out until book 3 but i could be wrong
Yep, they reveal it in As Good As Dead
Ah thank you! I read them all one after the other so it kinda blurred into one 😂
I would loveeee to see a Q&A xx
I'll definitely plan an upcoming video :)
But so in the serie Sal knew about Andie's situation, at least that Jason was an abusive asshole?
It seems like Sal knows that Jason was a douche but I am not sure to what extent

If you want a reaction, I'll give you a reaction! :)
Wait, but what did Andie and Sal said before the "i love you"?
After the "I love you"s and their kissing sesh, Andie says "9:30 tomorrow. Don't you dare change your mind"
