Meh hard to agree with this tier list. Guard is S tier just for the support alone that it can provide. Revenants are uber dominant in solo play (the highest sustain in the game) and when played as a heal vindi support in pvp or wvw, they're very strong. Mesmer is S tier atm for the chrono support alone. Thieves are a niche because in group play they aren't so useful but of you want to solo pvp, they're easily kings. Autoattack thief with the new heal relic is unkillable in open world. Rangers are OP no matter what you play. Currently untamed is insane both damage and sustain wise, even after the nerf. Warriors are S tier simply because of how much they can take while still dishing damage. Their built in survivability is insane and ever since staff came out warriors are finally free from being locked into DPS only. Engineers, condi cele mech is all you need for open world and is super useful in any group application, providing alacrity and is able to have a very stable dps in groups (especially mech). We're at a point now where basically any class will give you enough tools to be able to go through anything easily so it really doesn't matter what you pick. If anything, support capabilities are mainly what determines the tier of a specific class nowadays. Meaning that ranger, guardian, mesmer and revenants lead the tier list. Honorable mention to support heal berserker warrior who can basically maintain every boon in the game minus alacrity (unless you switch to bladesworn but then you lose quickness and it is not a recommended build in general).
Hi, I noticed you did t expand on elementalist. I play tempest a lot and often question the quality of the class itself in comparison to the other ones I have. It just feels meh to play at times. What are your thought on ele then?
@@NDfeerer10 in full honesty I haven't played ele yet so I intentionally left it out because I didn't want to write a bunch of nonsense about it. From what I can see though, cele ele builds fare well enough in OW and are very potent in WVW. Their support side could be worked upon a bit though.
