  • Having shown you a cab ride on this railway last year, I decided to put together some footage of the trains running at the opening event.
    Some of the locomotives belonged to the owner and others were brought along to the event by visitors.
    Because of the number of possible combinations of locomotive, driver and rolling stock, it was impossible to get any real degree of continuity, when filming over a three day period. Nevertheless, I hope you can get a flavour of just what an enjoyable weekend we had.

    I love the fact that these are real outdoor. Saves on fake plants. Yes, cost is high, but so is reward, I am sure. Great job.

    The railway is superb, and the Stirling single truly impressive!

    This is truly remarkable! What a great variety of engines, both standard and narrow gauge scale models, a Tinkerbell... and even Toby =)
    The landscape is just a stunning backdrop to beautifully crafted railway. I believe it will only get better, once it ages a little.
    And these incline really give the machines a real workout.
    All in all - looks like a perfect weekend to me!

    Perhaps outdoor lights powered by solar, so everyone can see what they are doing. Just a suggestion.

    Mhhhhh non mi convince molto la scala dei vari modelli…. Due loco simili una è circa 4 volte l'altra???????

    • @livesteamitaly
      @livesteamitaly 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ciao.....E' vero, le dimensioni delle loco variano a seconda se siano in scala normale ( scala 1/8) o scartamento ridotto ( scala 1/5.4 , 1/ 4 , 1/3.3) ma TUTTE hanno in comune il giusto binario di scartamento Europeo 7 ¼ pollici = 184mm
