Joys of Life Railway. August 2023.
The weekend was a celebration of the railway's 40th birthday with a wide variety of members locomotives attending, many having travelled long distances to be there. This film shows a random selection of 'comings and goings' taken in several locations which I hope will the viewer an insight into the attraction of this beautiful mature 5" gauge railway.

Join the driver of "Alpine Courier" for a trip from the engine yard, around the 5" gauge track and back. This is part of the Novegro Railway in Milan, Italy, most of the remainder of the various routes being dual gauge or 7.25" only.

What a great little railway winding its way down and back up the hillside. The builders and whoever thought of building on the hillside deserves a pat on the back for such a well thought out line.
