As stated, the ceiling plasterwork is a marvel along with the fireplaces but am also greatly impressed by the wall panelling , some of it is most unusual and beautifully crafted. What a stunning place - thank-you so much for bringing this to us. Incredible wood and stonework. So many superb details. Also appreciated the cawing ravens accompanying your introduction and adieu. It does appear to be a building which incorporates a sense not only of incredible grandeur, but also comfortable family living. The grounds no less impressive. Formal gardens and woodland well balanced. Thank-you so much for providing such lovely entertainment on a Monday afternoon. Keep well.

We loved the very strong sense of a family feeling inside the house... the carefully placed bowls of flowers and the beautiful pot grown orchids... With regards to the separate bedrooms we understand that the upper classes always had separate bedrooms to afford better sleep and also for security in the cases of a monarch... Hi Neil and Ant you definitely find some wonderful places to visit. That wooden panelling was absolutely stunning. Wow the Chinese room was really lovely were the walls paper? We really like the black colouring. That chandelier in the dining room is impressive. The white drawing room was amazing would love to see those paintings very much to our taste. This house just keeps on giving the bedrooms were another spectacle to admire, the carvings and beds are so beautiful. The barrel ceiling in the long gallery was unusual we would love the paintings there too. We love this house so much especially that it has the different styles of painting makes it a very interesting experience not to mention the gardens. The Chinese room has murals we think the walls are painted they certainly looked like it... no fading that was particularly noticeable either! The white drawing room was a real WOW moment, it almost felt contemporary in its colours and the simplicity of no window dressings. The staff were so nice too...
