  • During the college basketball game between Washington State and Arizona, Washington State's Jaylen Wells scored a clutch four point play with under a minute left to give the Cougars a 75-74 lead. They then held on for a 77-74 win and swept Arizona for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

Mike Hopkins has been a huge disappointment. His first 2 seasons showed some promise but the last 5 years have been dismal. They should have booted him after the 2021 season when they went 5 and 21. I think they just owed him too much money to fire him. Fortunately his contract is finally up next month so he's almost certainly gone. Hopefully they're willing to spend the money to get somebody decent

The defensive player getting into the shooters landing zone is the entire point of the rule. Dangerous when they land on the defenders feet and leads to injuries very often. The rule is that you can't obstruct the shooters landing area or it's a foul.
