Because the problem is, if you rush the court, and no one else does, then security will have an easy time zeroing in on you and catching you. And who knows what the consequences may be. They may prohibit you from attending future sporting events. So either everyone goes or no one goes. Striped shirt is literally standing 10-12 feet directly behind him, watching. What IS this-- the NBA? Two different pivot feet, lifted+moved multiple times. Gliding, hopping, and sliding. My goodness.

So, I am a student and was at this game. Two students rushed the court but no one else did. I am dissapointed. If everyone did I would have.
