This, I agree. People need to grow up. I loved Shayley with Of Mice & Men, but Aaron is an AMAZING clean vocalist and I think he will go just as good with OM&M. Shay had the talent to make something big, and he did just that. I hope Dayshell gets far because Shay deserves that much. Him and OM&M didn't work well, and that's why he left. So it's honestly better on both parts for the people/band. I love Of Mice & Men, and I love Dayshell. They're both fucking amazing.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with everything you said, except that Shay didn't work well with OM&M. His time in the band, especially working on The Flood before it was released, he really did love being in the band and he sounded fucking amazing, yes he was clearly not always happy but that was more around when they began touring. But yeah.
You know I hate that who group of bands associated with this style of music like asking Alexandria, issues, etc. but there's always one or two in the bunch that are underrated and way better musicians. this is that band. these guys could be the top dogs in this genre.
OM&M is OM&M. DayShell is DayShell. They're their own separate bands. Deal with it. Neither one is "better". This is the same thing that happened between +44 and AVA. Sure, Blink splitting up sucked; but the music on both sides of the split up was great nonetheless. With all that being said, I think that with the separation will come much good for fans: those who wanted more of Shayley will get just that. Those who preferred Austin will have the same. This song is the best to me on their album, although it isn't the heaviest (which I am a big fan of). Its just beautiful hearing Shayley's vocals, I'm really proud of how far he's come. Saw this band on the (Started from the bottom now we here) tour, they really know how to pump up a crowd. I was even lucky enough to hold Shayleys hand when he was leaning into the crowd. Cant wait to hear from Dayshell!

AA are a good band, however Parkway have been around a) miles longer b) sound nothing like AA to rip off them and c) put AA to shame in terms of musical prowess. No AA song is as complicated guitar wise as most parkway songs and winston is a much better vocalist in terms of power, technique and maintenance than danny will ever be. AA may be a good band, but they are not a spec on Parkway drive. And besides, Dayshell arent even similar to AA so whatever knob head brought AA up needs to shut up

I'm pretty sure the only thing on his voice is reverb and it's impossible to have no reverb any way.
