What action was taken for the illegal plates? IMO, if you can't afford a decent cherished plate and have to resort to this type of stupidity, it just shows you to be a bit of a ****. It would be nice if you're not already doing so that you start sending fines out to the registered keepers with a requirement for them to go to an MOT station with a confirming plate fitted and have to pay for the MOT station to confirm they now have a correct plate and any further occurrences would result in a Q plate being issued.
everything on my channel reported to the Police using the website tools they provide. There’s no messing here ! Drive using a mobile phone and I expect the driver will receive a custodial sentence. Prison at Best !
A minor observation…. All the cars with dodgy number plates are what are referred to as bellend cars, the sort u can see racing up to undertake and cutting in last minute. The tw@ts that flash u to move when ur doing 70mph in a long line of traffic. Same ones that take the exit at the last second.
nothing surprises me these days. everyday I see literally hundreds of drivers using mobile phones whilst driving. There are no police out there on the roads. well done VosaAudits
“Use illegal show plates, you will get caught” Oh yeah? Where I live, there are many of them, but no one ever gets done. But, then consider who's driving them (hint, area with the most driving offences in the UK)
Number plates are supposed to be displayed in accordance to the law. But does it REALLY matter how it is displayed. In Italy number plates are small compared to the UK. In Australia you can have anything you like and some are very amusing. But there againg the authorities in the UK like to spoil things if they can.
The reg plate thing is a joke, the state just doesn't like their stupid rules being defied! I have a plate, nothing particularly outrageous but the spacing has been err, rearranged! This thing about them being difficult to read is BS, unless the number has been seriously messed up. I've been stopped 3 times, 1st was because it flagged up as uninsured, reason for that was I'd just reinsured it that day after being off the road for winter. Two things about that, the plate still triggered the anpr cam, so it was obviously readable, and the cop complimented me on the plate, he said. "Cool plate by the way"!!! The other occasions were on the motorway, both I was given the lecture, both times I pointed out that their anpr had still read the number without a problem!! One let me go with a warning, the other got all upset and reported it to the dvla. I received a caution notice from them, stating that if they received another report, the plate would be confiscated on the third report with no further notice!!! I've kept the plate and haven't been stopped since. It's all big brother, do as you're told BS. Fun and enjoyment is gradually being made an offence. But, if you aren't white, just come into the country across the channel by small boat, no docs, no prob, we'll put you up in a hotel, or give you a house, with an allowance, no work necessary, no interference from the police, they'll just look the other way if you're up to no good, our women are fair game, and if you're a bit short just go shoplifting and that'll be fine. Phone driving though, no, that's totally wrong and unacceptable, do that and you deserve the consequences.
