Great review, like that you get the young ones involved I used to take my kids walking in the mountains near us and they had army rations to eat for the day and they loved it
try to get then family involved with all my hobbies.... if they are interested, that is 😅. considering taking some army rations on our next camping trip to make a video out in the countryside.... mix up the reviews a bit.
This ration looks great and it was presented so well that I just had to subscribe to your channel. I felt very comphortable and well informed by your content. Thank you.
I've just purchased one of these for my boy who likes camping out in the woods with his friends. Just for fun really. Great review! I'm happier about getting it for him now ❤
Morning! I have a number of MRE and Prep channels in my subscription list, and your relatively new channel popped up in my suggested videos. So it seems the TH-cam algorithm works! Hope you stick to it and channel grows.
@@WearyWolfAdventures looking forward to the content. I'm in Anglesey and we do a lot of sea fishing. I took a UK 24hr general purpose on an all day all nighter a couple of years back! Didnt even get through all of the contents!. Suprises me that you don't even get flameless ration heaters in them tbh.
I'm based on the South Coast, I sea fish off the beach mostly down Southbourne near Bournemouth... for rays and bass. I have plans to review freeze dried meals soon which I often take on fishing trips due to there light weight and needing to reduce travel weight with rods, tripod and all the gear. What species do you get frequently in Angelsey? It's very quite here feburary/march as the winter species move out and we wait on the summer species
@@WearyWolfAdventures species? You name it!! Spring: bass, Whiting, codling, coalie, thornback, red gurnard. Summer: Mackerel, bigger bass, codling, plaice, flounder, scad, Autumn, late mackerel, early Whiting. All of the above. In certain "situations" 😉😉😉 salmon and sea trout 😉 Dogs and huss all year round. Brave smoothies Pretty much anything! Bait, location, weather dictates! Of course, here on Anglesey you can always get out of the wind, coast faces every direction!
Thanks for the comment! I just purchased menu 9 from you on eBay! And I really appreciated the free item Inc. Can I show your details (business card that came with delivery) in the review I'm doing this weekend?
We always kept the clear bags and marked one B for breakfast another one L for lunch and the other one S for supper in the breakfast bag it’s clear so you can see everything that’s in it. You put your breakfast entrée coffee and your morning snack and your energy drink in your lunch bag you put your lunch entrée And your afternoon snack and energy drink and then into supper bag your supper entrée and any snacks you might need at night Do this the night before so that you’re never going through this at meal time you can stop each meal and be ready to go again in 10 or 12 minutes
have some vending machine / gas station peanuts at the house. the bag sizes are 2.5 oz / 70gr & 1 oz / 28 gr. so the 100gr bag of peanuts is just under 4 oz. a all day snack
the rations are really much better than people think, I sell about one box of 10 every week, often repeat business when people find out how good they are
I only go for the savoury meals now from Preppers Shop UK, I try an individual pouch and if I like it buy them in bulk. Not affiliated to the store in any way, just a happy customer
I would try the apricot jam or any jam on the vanilla cake. Especially since there were no crackers to obviously eat with it. Ive always thought a fruit jam with the vanilla cake act like a cobbler type desert. But then im from Alabama in the USA and we love our swwets in the South. Just a suggestion 😊 hope you have a blessed day!
Thanks for the message 😀 my wife would love Alabama then, she loves sweet things. I have put jam on the cake in other mre reviews and it was delicious 😋 definitely a good was to incorporate the jam. All the best
Thank you I appreciate you checking it out.... I have alot more of the menus reviewed on the channel the more recent ones have better sound quality as I purchased a mic... I hope you will enjoy them aswell 😀
Sounds fun, and it's one of my favourite things to take a Mre and get outside to have an adventure 😀 I have a lot more reviews with better sound and editing you might enjoy... this was one of my first uploads, and it's been a steep learning curve 🙃
Had chocolate cookies and vanilla sponge so I assume that's classed as the desserts? In menu 9 we had a chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce! That was a great dessert choice. I would have preferred maybe half the amount of peanuts and some dried fruits 🤔. Thanks for the comment
If you're looking for a 24-hour mre that has a heater, check out the French RCIR. I have some of the menus reviewed on the channel. To answer the the question about heating it in the field... you can eat them cold or heat them on a stove in a mess tin or boil them in the packets.
@@WearyWolfAdventures Yeah, got that buddy but all the UK and US rations I get come with a flameless heater? In fact I've got a stack of them left over?
seriusly man, i though American reviewers cant do what they do, but u cant read/understand either... flavours on drinks... it tilts me so bad that u cant comprehend what u have before your eyes...
The oatmeal block is also to make porridge with. With added sugar and the jam it does a good breakfast.
oh! Nice one! I'm going to try that in the next menu it comes with

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me and is very encouraging. 😊
This is a really enjoyable review. Looking forward to more content.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much. I'm doing menu 9 this coming weekend 😀
I like how you got the family involved awesome
thank you, they enjoy it for the most part. I'm very lucky to have a family that likes to try out my hobbies and interests..

Yeah, peanuts are a great all-day snack... I'm doing a series on making a homemade mre, and peanuts are on this list in small bag sizes 😋
Hello from the USA, i love watching these videos. Looks like the UK military MRE's has a lot of food for there military personnel...
Yes lots of food and drinks to keep you going
This was really interesting. I thought the food would just be mush, wasn't expecting all the textures.
lots of texture and great flavours

The tea bags are quite decent. Proper builders stuff.
I have used them since the video, and yes, they are! I love a really strong cuppa. il make them one in the next one, I have menu 9 on its way 😋
Cool channel
I really recommend the french 24hr RCIR ration.... theyre amazing!
I have added international MRE'S to the list, and can't wait to try the French 24hr RCIR ration. 😊

Anyway... awesome review !
I like decent coffee 🙃 if it's not a decent coffee in go the sugar and whitner 👍

The hot chocolate drink is lush as good as Cadbury's chocolate and the energy are quite nice tea nd coffee I'll take my own lol 😂
🤣 agreed... I take a little stash of the 3 n 1 coffees with me now to swap out...
No desserts?

Where's the ration heater????
These rations don't come with heaters.

Stop whispering and speak up, I can't hear you!
