I just bought the Sisley Ecological Compound after recieving a tester. I really love it! I use it as the last step in my morning skin care routine. It makes my makeup look so nice, no creasing or separating, and my foundation is easy to apply and stays on beautifully (no need for primer). I have oily skin, and this product gives perfect hydration for my skin.
The Sisley Ecological Compound can also be used as a vitamin serum. Put just a small pump on directly under whatever moisturizer you like. It provides a mega-dose of vitamins and minerals to the skin. It then sinks into the skin and does not leave a greasy residue. In our Sisley trainings we are taught to think of the EC as a serum for day and night use. It is also great as a stand-alone moisturizer as you are currently using it. It was the original Sisley product and remains their best seller.
Thank you for that information. I received a sample of it and I thought it was a moisturiser. I felt it was too light for me but now I know that I should use it under a moisturiser I feel better about it.
I like the texture of it but the scent is way too strong
There are no artificial fragrances in Ecological Compound. The smell comes from the ingredients. I’ve found that if you don’t put it over the upper lip and under the nose the fragrance isn’t as obvious. Also, with time the fragrance fades away.

I totally agree with you regarding the Tatcha Indigo Overnight Cream. I put it on at night after using the Tatcha Violet C brightening serum, and it has made a huge difference in my skin. It has significantly helped tone down the redness in my cheeks and has restored my moisture barrier. Truly worth every penny.

I’m so happy to hear you talk about the Tatcha Overnight Repair! You did a little promo for Sephora when it first came out but I haven’t heard you speak of it since. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin with rosacea and I swear by it! 🥰
You probably will love the eye2cheek in 9 for a minimal natural cheek look. It's subtle with a bit of a peachish blonzer color. I ended up loving it way more than I thought I would after getting it.
My favorite one and done eyeshadows are the Charlotte TIlbury Eyes to Mesmerize shadows. They are long wearing and have the best color shift while still being wearable for everyday.

I tried the Velvet line of lipsticks from Lisa Eldridge and they were beautiful but not my preferred texture. I decided recently to try the Lucent line and I am hooked! My current favorite is in a shade called Atomic Cherry. In the gloss I have been loving Pompadour. I just now ordered the Jordan Samuel face cleanser that you featured in this video. I have been dealing with an eczema reaction on my face due to a glowy exfoliate I recently tried. I'm hoping to love the cleanser as much as you do. Thanks for all the great recommendations.

I love Jordan Samuel. I have gone through countless tubes of the gel cleanser (the one you don't like) and their moisturizer and hydrating spritz are top notch, too.
I love Jordan’s After Show Treatment cleanser as well. I’ve been using it for several years. I use the Matinee Cream cleanser as my second cleanse. His Moisture Recovery Cream is a dream. Such lovely products.

interesting review on the shiseido duo. it reminds me now of instructions by certain brands who have chemical exfoliants as their star products - start slow & either a couple of times a week only at night, or use a dampened cotton round to dilute the strength of the acids… whatever the case they always advocate starting slowly & gradually increase frequency or strength.
as for tatcha & sisley - i love them when i need to soothe & calm my skin. i don’t think i’ve tried anything i dislike from tatcha !

I am not a doctor or expert of any kind. However, it’s my understanding that cica (pronounced seeka) is excellent for skin barrier repair. I use it on all those extra dry, flaky areas of face and body. A few days and all goes back to normal. Again, just my experience. It’s an amazing ingredient. Also available in more affordable options.
I LOVE Jordan Samuel Matinee Cream Cleanser. It is perfect for my sensitive dry skin. I also love the Jordan Samuel Moisture Recovery Cream at night. Over the last year, I've found myself concentrating more on skincare. I'm trying to be more consistent with my light therapy and microcurrent. It doesn't do me any good in a drawer LOL Great favs!

Is the Moisture Recovery Cream rich in texture?
@@alicerabbit8 Yes it is. A little goes a long way. I have very dry mature skin and my skin loves it. I mostly use it at night. If you need a lighter moisturizer, The Performance Cream is great. I use it under makeup. I'm a huge fan of all Jordan Samuel Products. His eye gel is one of the few eye products that don't give me milia.

Whenever I run across a skincare product that doesn't work on my face, I'll use it somewhere else so I don't waste it (lotion/creams on my hands and feet and cleansers on body).

Are you going to be reviewing the new ND love palette? So far I’m passing because I can’t see more than one look with it. None of the people that try to do multiple looks with one palette are even attempting to do multiple looks

I heard from an esthetician, you should use lactic acid 2 x per week and this would be for dry skin. So I think you were overdoing the serum. Just passing along the information because I am 66 years old and I to have dry dehydrated skin.😊
Why are many of the items mentioned more expensive on the Sephora than on the brand's own website (Tatcha indigo overnight repair and the Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize, for example). Never saw Sephora do markups before. Sadly, I have seen Ulta do this for years. I hate the price discrepancy, which is why I rarely shop in Ulta though they have begun offering luxury brands

The Sisley EC sounds amazing! Was just looking more into it and it mentions drying to a matte finish? That part doesn't sound appealing. Did you experience this?
It doesn’t. This means it doesn’t leave the skin looking oily or unnaturally shiny. It can be used as a stand alone moisturizer or as a serum (small pump) under another moisturizer. It is incredibly versatile and provides a massive shot of vitamins and minerals to the skin however you use it. (I’m a Sisley-trained aesthetician.) The new formulation is fantastic.

. I just wanted to inform all my influencing friends that I'll be on an emergency vacation so I can't comment on everyone's channels right now.
I've almost used the whole tube of the Dior cica balm, and I never use up hardly anything because I have so much in rotation. It's really REALLY NICE, I even like it on my face... a couple things I've found recently that I freaking LOVE , they just stocked a shelf of Beautycounter at my Ulta, and I've never seen their makeup before, and so I picked up their skin tint, and let me just say I love it, the texture reminds me of the Westman Atelier vital complexion drops. Except it's like 50 and I think I paid 80 for the W.A.... ALSOi grabbed one of the Beautycounter cream blushes in a nude tan type shade (it doesn't say the name on the compact, and this blush is nice it's really balmy and slick but sheer matte and so pretty... Also loving the Chanel Sublimage corrector concealer, it's really nice, the Freck Rich Bitch primer and lip balm are both badass, Glow Recipe strawberry bha pore smooth blur drops are amazing, Make Beauty orbital balm smoothing eye treatment is phenomenal... Ole henriksen pout preserve peptide lip treatment is better than most and smells like oranges and mangoes, Dedcool Red Dakota perfume smells like a dream, really if you like citrus this one is a MUST... OH!! And the Dior Glow Veil and Velvet veil are both really good, I had to get both after swatching in sephora and I'm really impressed with both of them, the Glow is so nice without showing shimmer, the velvet blurs like magic, and both feel hydrating (the Glow is more hydrating of course)... but anyway guys, I hope everybody has a good day, and Michele you look beautiful, thanks for the recommendations!! Oh and I almost forgot, rituel de fille has a new color pigment balm that's brown, called hornet. I have all of them and they're some of my favorite products in my whole collection. Glad to have a sheer brown translucent balm now... ♡u
