You absolutely look good and natural in that hat Johnny , a true ‘Mongolian Warlord’ . And good on you hanging with very pretty Alina McLeod. Great video, you and Alina make a good duet. My wife and I always go to St Andrews Church and walk the decent, haven’t been since 2018 because of Covid, but hopefully 2022 we will return. Love the Old World atmosphere there
Johnny has the talent to avoid showing the nice parts of the city, he was even able to manage to don't show that beautiful church despite he was 10- meters away
Love this video, Johnny! Thank you for sharing your time shopping there, so many places in that whole city that it would take a year to see every little thing. I just move to Odessa from the U.S. and it amazes me what is there that many do not know how wonderful friends are made. Alina has been a wonderful inspiration to many, a friend like her you will have a hard time finding anywhere, she will light up any video she does. I look forward to many more great times with you, Johnny. Keep doing them, you are special to us, and just being yourself is all we want, and you have made it great to know you. Be safe and enjoy!!
Alina is a very nice woman keep in touch with her she seems very down to earth and nice to be around keep up the good work Johnny you'll hit over a hundred thousand soon.....JJ...
I have a bunch of paintings that I bought on Andriyivskyy Descent. Love that place, especially in the summer time. There is also a cool "unknown" park if you keep left going down.

When u wore the hat with the flaps down at the sides at the end it looked really cool on u.. and she made me smile so much when she was trying your hat on 😉
Great video Johnny FD. My wife is Russian I a UK, and your video bought good memories back. Love the hat suits you well, wife said she would get me one... That was 15 years ago... Still waiting. 😁👍
You two have too make this work. You both have a special glow and hopefully the timing in life is right. You two are a must. You both are really grounded and focussed and now can appreciate honesty and loyalty Wow this is really right from an old fart looking in
Those ushankas were cool. I want to get an authentic one too. Nice to see two of my favorite TH-camr hang out. Alina's a very cool person, been a fan of her for three years now. She was the second person I subscribed to. Guess who was number 1? Yep, Bald.
Johnny finally found "the descent," the 1000 year old street with its many vendors. Excellent craft and souvenir items, many hand made during the long winters. Usually has a number of artists with some superb paintings. If Johnny is going to imitate Bald, he will have to learn some history. The hat he bought is hot, definitely made for cold weather. Down from St. Andrew's Church.
Great video, looks like you too had a lot of fun hanging out. I've walked up that hill in the summer, will visit it again this February. My uncle had hats like that made from my grandmothers mink shawl. the hat is the warmest thing i have ever worn on my head, they really work. who knows, maybe the rabbit was used in a nice stew!
I was just on this street a month ago, and watching this makes me want to go back and do some more shopping! And yes, Chornobyl no longer lets you take photos inside the buildings. I was just there too, and it is still worth the trip. Some of the buildings too are in the process of collapsing, so someday there may be nothing left.
When I was in Ukraine earlier this year, there were minus 22 Celsius one day. Had the best time! Got to love Ukrainian winters. Freezing cold and huge piles of snow 🤩
After watching Engin's and your videos, I have decided to go to Kyiv. Two months ago, I was in there with my mom and cousin. After seeing Andreevsky Descent in this video, I have realized that I really missed Kyiv. Now, I'm in Istanbul and struggle with my mid-term exams. Life is nice for you, Johhny :D
I love it that Ukraine starting to speak its own language. I grew up there, and Ukraine will always be in my heart. I was born in Kyiv some long time ago :).
that's not Kiev's own language. Bulgakov (1891-1940), famous writer, was born in Kiev and didn't know a word in Ukrainian, and the majority of the population did not know.
Ukraine is taking its history language and culture back. East Ukraine was under oppressive rule of Moscowy for centuries. Russia was called moscowy until Peter 1 renamed it. Over 200 decrees issued by Moscow over several centuries directly suppressing Ukrainian language and culture for fear of Ukraine braking free. World is not always a nice place you have to fight for your place under the sun.
@@dmitriikadulin2288 That is a lie. All of Russian history was fabricated since Russian Empire conquered Ukraine. Russians kept destroying anything they can about Ukraine or Rus which another name for Ukraine. Russia did not come from Kyiv at all. Russia used to be Moscovia or Moksel land .
I've been following Alina McLeod's vlog and great you collab with her while she was visiting her maternal's side in Ukraine. 👍 You looked like a brunette from a distance with that brown fur hat.
Two of my favorite TH-camrs after Bald & Bankrupt and Harald. Johnny is doing a great job in having all my favorites together. Hope I will bump onto you somewhere in Ukraine when I will be there in 2022!
Don't worry.Real winter in Ukraine so mild.Minus 20 degrees - maybe 1 day for 3 month.+5 or -5 is every time.Big snow is not typical too.But life is life.Fantastic rubbit shapka, Johnny FD! Alina thanks 👍!Good job!

The hat looks good Johnny and as you wear it the hat will fit your head better. Keep your head warm so you stay healthy. Alina is a hit right out of the park. She is awesome, great at bargaining and very quick and smart. Loved the Highlander reference.
Sailors have a saying to express their fondness for France (and to remember the orientation of their flag.) " Blue to the mast, true to the last." It's blue, white, red, just like the Kieslowski film trilogy.
How haven't I discovered Alina before??! She has the only RIGHT opinion on fingerless gloves 17:15 . A few years ago (when I last visited Kiev ) the brewery restaurant they are standing right beside at around the same time point in the video was very good for a lazy "bisnes lunch" for tired tourists.
Funny to see the trees their are nearly bare, all the leaves have gone. In UK there are still green leaves just starting to turn brown. Winter comes early in Ukraine.
Had to look it up: French flag is blue, white, red but the colors go left to right. Red, white, blue top to bottom is Netherlands. Russian flag is white, blue, red top to bottom.
Congrats on your 100 k i never really know who u were till i watched u with bald know u are one of my favorite next to Bald and Harold keep it up next i would love to see u all together including Simon Wilson love your hat too

McLeod is not a very Ukrainian name. Alina looks a lot like my daughter who is living in Saskatchewan and she's 25% Ukrainian, but can't speak Ukrainian and doesn't have a Ukrainian name either. I'm surprised they don't have more things from Canada since we have a lot of Ukrainians in Canada.
With the fur hat Johnny looks like a real Mongolian.
Ukrainians be wary, he's the second coming of Genghis Khan.....
I was going to write it!!!👍🏻
“Mongolian.” Great minds think alike. 😉
Haha I know right! He looks awesome. Hope he never takes it off.
He is a real Mongolian even without that fur hat!!!
Alina is having fun. I don’t think I’ve seen her laugh and smile as much as she did in hers and your video.
I think Johnny needs to ask her out on a dinner...JJ... Just my opinion she looks very happy.....JJ...
They in love
An Introvert with an extrovert, very good combi
She is super cute
They are probably already together. The way they look at each other. I see love
Wait until you see ladies walking on ice while wearing heels this winter Johnny. An incredible skill.

Alina is such a sweetie. As someone has said, I think you bring out the best in her, as she usually vlogs solo and can be quite introverted.
