First generation recording, brand new tape, SVHS not VHS - to try and keep quality as high as possible.
Recorded when first broadcast.

It's obvious how easily he can let his hair down and let that childlike creative sensibility take over. He doesn't let any inhibitions in the way. That's a clue to how creative genius works.

Metaphorically, the closest I ever got to Paul is my uncle, who was, at one point, one of Paul's sound engineers, and my famous bass mentor from when I was a music student in university, whose son has been Paul's longtime drummer on stage.
The closest I ever got to Paul, PHYSICALLY? When I attended his concert at Candlestick Park.

Makes me realize how important the influence of that typical English humor was for The Beatles in their music and PR, but also for other British bands like The Kinks and The Small Faces. Very much related to what we know from comedians like Peter Sellers and Monty Python, of whom they were fans.
Yea Paul is very animated and funny when he's clowning around:-) Billy Joel is a lot like that as well:-) Imagine, the both of them doing some sort of variety show together when the touring starts to wear them out!?? "The Paul and Billy Show"!!:-)

That's amazing it's really deep in his soul and he seems to just get better as he goes on with his life . If I could be like anyone in this world besides my Father it would have to be Paul such a inspiration to us all.
You get to see some of his real humour here. The Beatles all had that deep magical flow of humour and imagination.

I heard from so many people who met him that he's kinda arrogant (or was), but seriously, I can hardly imagine that when I see him like this. Seriously, how can you not like this guy? He's funny, cute and childlike (in a good way), no matter how old he is. Not to mention his music talents. - Well, I guess I have to meet him to find out how he really is^^ Hopefully, one day...
Watch the video with James Corden in Liverpool, when he is approached by many random strangers. He treats them well. I don't know how I would handle that situation if it happened to me all the time. True, he knew he was on camera, but I think it still shows that he is a good guy. He has been captured on camera for thousands of hours. You can't fake being decent for that long.
