The kick to the door, the smirk on his face, also the complete contrast between him and his wife, her in shock and him actually feeling good about it, all these details tell a lot about his character, his work and his relationship. All Narcos seasons were between good and great, but the first two were certainly the most psychologically charged and the most atmospheric.
narcos is a good show but many scenes and parts of the plot were overdramatized and unnecessary. example this whole under pressure scene where he beats up a random dude in the bathroom. the depiction of colombian citizens is also one sided and plain. the best part about narcos is the constant battles between DEA + colombian state vs medellin cartel which makes it watchable.
