    I honestly love David's selections.

Also, Marx is to economists what Freud is to psychiatrists.

David's books are not boring. As a proud reader of serious books with a degree in Economics I find his choices interesting. I'm a big fan of Hayek, Schumpeter, and Mises, among others.

Todd's BookTube here. Hello Steve & David! It's always nice when friends get together and go book shopping together. I plan to make a video in the next couple of days. I'm glad David is back! 😊

David's books are not boring! However, there are more boring professions than economists and that is any of the accountancy professions, and guess what I was. I think you guys have had a wonderful time, and got lots of super books.

What a crazy author photograph on the back of the Adams autobiog!! Steve, if you wanted to make a tag of your own, would love to see your creation of author photographs tag. Good to see some 28 year olds enjoying themselves.

The Sleepwalkers was by the same author as Iron Kingdom.

I never realised how tall you are!..or perhaps David is like myself.. a short arse!.

Y'all should've put a *nerd alert* hashtag on this video! 😂 So fun. 👏🏻 Safe travels to David.

Absolutely always love to see these Brattle hauls, especially joint ones like this! But even the ones on your own are always fascinating, because we know that anything you buy will come with either a great story or a great reason.
Either way, it's another kick in the wallet when I add 4 or 5 more books to my amazon wishlist... Haha!
(unfortunately I'd be unwelcome for a meetup at the Brattle myself, or at least definitely not able to come to Hyde Cottage, because regrettably, I'm a smoker and I know you can't stand that. But I do dream of a few days driving around Boston and other bibliophile havens in Mass. state - with you and Frieda as our honoured, distinguished, and ultimately spoilt guests and unofficial guides - taking in the sights and sniffs of every interesting stop along the way...)

You guys are great together! Would love many more. Would love your advice on a good starter biography on both Queen Victoria and Catherine the Great. I’m interested in learning more about those two but haven’t ready anything yet. Your advice is welcomed!

A biography of Schumpeter? I am politely golf clapping. I went to a concert once where the end of a piece was met with polite golf clapping after an uncomfortable silence. And the cause of that golf clapping was a compatriot of Schumpeter, Webern. Maybe golf is popular in Austria.
