Ur not alone my friend. That was me a few years ago, and even now I spend many days at the lake catching nothing. 😂 One of my favorite ways to pass the time nonetheless.
I’m 14 Tyler you’ve helped me learn about fishing for about 4 years you’ve taught me to effective with so many techniques and I just recently got a bass boat to join my highschool team
I just bought my first bait cast. As I just picked out my rod and started ditching for pond lures, this video pops up! So far your videos have helped me decide on what I need for pond fishing.
Just started getting more into bass fishing! Yesterday went out and had a tough day but then a 2lb 9 oz destroyed topwater spook! For the small lake I fish that's giant. Love topwater!!!! Can't wait to get more skill
MY FAVORITE SERIES FOR SURE! great video tyler, if youre ever back in florida, I got a couple ponds down here in the south id love to show you and see how you would break them down!
Tyler alright that was fun to watch nice to bring out someone to have a friendly competition and lift the spirits! Thanks for sharing as always great video content tight lines and God bless!
A trick I like to do with my spook/walker I like to move it really fast like no pause between walks just a pretty fast walk I get a lot more bites I caught ten bass one day below a spillway doing that👍🏽
You're definitely right about the fishing in Florida, saying that we have a better bite ratio in the evening as compared to the morning. At least that's the way I feel. It's mostly a fact with retention ponds, small creeks, small lakes, those sorts of spots. I thought it was just me for a long time, sucking fishing, until he started to get a little dark out around dusk, and the bite is on fire!
Great to see you pond fishing on Florida! Let us know if you are comingbyp South Florida, we have lots of ponds to fish with good 3-5 lb bass as well as some monoster peacock bass! You are right, the best times are first light or evening.
oh man that drag just silent screaming at 16:15 had me wincing so bad. lol thought for sure it was gonna snap. i've also discovered what you did on a particular lake near me is fishing the whole evening and not just sundown. biten dies when the sun goes below the horizon.

Tyler, come to south Texas and fish Coleto Creek Reservoir and the Crossroads region of the Guadalupe River. As you probably know the Guadalupe has big large mouth and the state fish of Texas; The Guadalupe Bass.
Any lure y’all think that would work the best in grassy ponds I usually use paddle tails rattle traps and whopper ploppers and catch a couple but still would like to throw around something different to catch some more
Have you ever fished Kiser Lake in Conover, Ohio? It's a unique lake that power boats are not allowed. Only human or wind powered boats. There's plenty of bank fishing available.
@TylersReelFishing I've not had much luck, but I'm just getting back into fishing. I have heard from some of the locals that there are some good largemouth bass. Most people I've seen there fish for pan fish. It's got a lot of grass and Lily pads and downed trees in places for cover.
You can certainly figure out what's working faster with 2 people pond fishing. A walking bait is not a confidence lure and would be close to last on my lures to try. But Alton caught some nice ones and changed my mind a bit.
Hit a local lake (it's a pond at a park lol) the bass are just now spawning so got some bed fishing or attempted. There's a little island in the middle with reeds they're sticking near to nest. Other ponds I go they're post spawn already and smashing top water. Also would like to say your videos and others like tacticalbassin have been why I'm catching the bass I am when I do cause it's taught me what to throw how to work them and how to find the fish
Just got into fishing a few weeks ago but my uncles been doing it for decades, dude ditched the family and caught 40 fish this past Memorial Day 🤣🤣 I’m addicted now too, rather fish than sleep
Great video! Have you ever thought about doing a pros vs Joes video? Like you and Alton vs 2 subscribers but they get live scope, bass boat, and newest technology while you and Alton only get a Jon boat with no sonar. See who catches the most fish? I would love to see a video like that!
Sounds like a fun idea! I just don’t think it would get any views. Any challenge type stuff I do that strays from instructional/fishing footage hybrid doesn’t do well
@@TylersReelFishing Ahhh got ya! Thought the "old style" can beat the "new style" might have been decent. That's why I watch and you make the videos LOL
Love the videos, man. Question I have is with the Dangerous swimbait, which option did you choose (shallow or deep)? And what do you guess is the rate of fall with that particular one?
did you stop working with private water fishing? code still not working... I was trying to help you out by using your code, but unfortunately, I guess I can't.
@@TylersReelFishing 😀 too bad people in a lot of other areas aren't chill 👍✋. I live in North Florida and people want to call the water there's and that it's private and want to run you out 🤬, when all you want to do is to have a good day of fishing😎.

After spending hours on the bank & not getting anything, finally this morning I’ve caught my first bass!
Litterly me😂 like over 20 hours for 1 fish

Bro pick up a football jig with a craw or a chunk for a trailer and just pop it along the bottom. You'll catch em for sure!
try more finesse fishing, thats how you catch a ton of em, usually in pressured waters drop shots will do the trick or shaky heads.
Wacky worm or neko rig gets hammered
Such a blessing when I sit down and see Tyler uploaded

It definitely is a confidence lure for me, but for some reason, it’s not one of the first ones I reach for in ponds. Maybe it needs to be
Great video and great information thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Great video…..pond fishing is great, can you add links to what Alton was fishing?
Walking bait and bellows Shad on a free rig

Scared to fish in Florida ponds 99% have alligators in them. But then again they have peacock bass 😅
Most of the time they are more scared of you than you are of them
I wish that I could fish with you
Ways speed up I never slow down bass are predators like a big cat you run they love to chase. Ive seen it with trout too speed up and they go for it
I watched this video twice and nether time could I find the pro angler.
It’s the second guy, Alton. He switches to him several times in the video.

How do you fish these ponds in residential places like that and not have homeowners coming out angry about you being in their backyards?
