I love you videos, they are so informative! I've had alot of luck with Pier 1 mugs and anthropologie. I've also sold several Fiesta ware mugs and Frankoma pottery.
I really enjoy your videos. They are do full of information. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad you let people know about Rae dunn. The market has really cooled on all her stuff
Thanks, I like your style. A big factor is how cheap you can get them. I heard or actually read in online chatter that Starbucks were the hot thing in mugs. I lucked upon 7 different Starbucks travel Cities mugs at just $0.49 each in a thrift store. Listed them right away. It’s taken about 6 months and all but 1 has sold at an average of $14.97. One I thought would be on your list, similar to Aladdin would be Yeti, I’ll have to research those. I know when my wife misplaced her lid, we paid about $8 on eBay for a replacement, then she found it. Thanks 🙏 again. New subscriber here, Dave in PA.
Thank you!. I agree on buying these types of items cheap. The most I'll spend on a mug is $1. I had similar luck with Hard Rock Café shot glasses. Found 15 at Goodwill for .50 cents a piece and all sold in 6 months at over $12+ shipping. It's probably the various destinations that make them so collectable. Yeti looks like another fast selling brand but EBAY has them in a different category. The mugs I discuss are in "Dinnerware and Serveware" Most of the Yeti listings are in "Kitchen storage and organization". Thanks for subscribing😀
Some of Starbucks mugs are rare and super sought after specially mugs from Japan and some from Arabic countries. Rather than those the rest don’t sell that great at all. Mine sell so freaking slow. Surprisingly Some Stanley vacuum traveler mugs sell much better than Starbucks.
The Starbucks destination mugs (State or City) are the only ones that have sold for me. Their plastic tumblers have bombed.for that reason. I think their popularity is dropping like a lead balloon.
Not sure why that is but at least I will show more restraint when I see those adorable mugs. I check comps to make sure it's worth picking up. Thanks for watching!
Yes, Ebay is flooded with mugs so it can be hard to sell them quickly. I won't spend more than $2. I only pick up the ones that are very unique and expect to wait for the right buyer to find it. I always charge the buyer shipping or else it's not worth it. I hope you have better luck with them in the future.☕
Let me know which brands of mugs you've had success with...or have sat in your store.
How about Funko POP? I won't pick it up. I think its going the way of the ty Beanie Baby
One brand I've sold pretty often is Portobello. There are currently 3100 listed with 726 sold in the last 90 days. That's a sell through of 23%.
Really like the way you laid this out, very easy to understand. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching.

I think you're right. None of the sell through rates are good enough. Unless you have storage space and plenty of time.
very interesting info.... have not started really selling on ebay ... but do intend to get started soon...
Great info. Thank you
Happy to help. Let me know if there are any item categories you would like to see in the future.
I really can't sell Rae Dunn ot Starbucks but I did actually sell a Starbucks tumbler yesterday. I can sell Dennys and IOP
Disney seems to be losing favor in all catagories lately.

Can you talk about the value
of White Castle coffee cups?
I checked them out. It looks like the current sell through rate is 33% (90 days) and most sell for around $10 to $15. Thanks for watching!
Threshold is a Target brand... still very nice mugs though!
Thanks for letting me know. I barely ever go to Target so it was a mystery.
Any info on royal norfolk?
I think that's a dollar store brand.
I feel like Mugs do not sell well for me. They are so heavy that the amount someone pays after everything, is crazy!
